Imaginary Hostel is a cozy and welcoming space in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town, perfect for travelers looking for a laid-back and social atmosphere. We bring together backpackers of all ages who enjoy meaningful connections, shared experiences, and a relaxed vibe. While we’re not a party hostel, we love good conversations, game nights, and casual gatherings.

We’re always looking for friendly, open-minded volunteers to help us.

Dettagli del programma

We expect from our volunteers up to 32 hours of voluntary work, which would be either (or both) cleaning/housekeeping shifts, reception/bar shifts and in general socializing with guests and enjoying themselves when off the shift. Hours exceeding this 32 hours will be paid, but cannot always promise that extra hours are available.
In return, we offer a free bed in the staff dormitory, free food, use of all the facilities, free laundry, free pub crawls, staff prices for drinks, discount in our partner bar.

Attività e turni

1. Cleaning. We have a morning (8-16) and help cleaning (11-14 and 16-23) shifts. Morning shifts include room cleaning and general cleaning (bathrooms, toilets, kitchen, common areas etc.) Evening shifts are the same, but no rooms need to be made.

2. Reception. There are 3 reception/bar (2 in 1) shifts per day - from 8-16, 15-23, 23-8. These include checking guests in and out, selling alcohol (beers, wine and basic cocktails), providing information, in general socializing, keeping your working space tidy and some light cleaning in reception area.
