From the moment I walked into the hostel, Ruthie welcomed me with open arms and a smile. Fellow volunteers shared her warmth, offered me food/wine and I ended up becoming fast friends with them from night one! I could not have asked for a better experience and I'm already excited to go back to wee the hostel. The hostel is clean, well-managed, the staff is super friendly and generous, the town is adorable and the nature is just begging to be explored. I could not recommend the hostel more highly--it was my first time volunteering with Worldpackers and I was blown away!

As it was my first experience I sincerely didn't know what to expect from the host, now I would definitely recommend it as a place where you could volunteer thanks to the amazing persons that are running it all and for the surrounding area that is AMAZING!! Just one thing, be aware of the buses that are going to the other cities because they don't pass very often. Go for it, it is worthed!!

The best experience ever!!!. I really cannot describe my days in the hostel. All my days there were incredible, the Village, the hostel, the volunteers, and specially the boss!. Ruthy is the best, she never get tired to be happy and to make happy the people around her. You really have to live it!. Thank you very much to everybody, All you did my work in the hostel the best holidays so far! xxxxxxxx

Working at the hostel was such an incredible experience! I met so many wonderful people and the full-time staff are great communicators and understand the importance of making sure we get to explore Scotland. I would work for them again in a heartbeat. The living conditions were great and the hostel itself is beautiful. Miss working here already!!

What an amazing experience at the hostel! It's such a beautiful little town, the hotel is filled with friendly staff and guests and there is always something to do! Ruthie is a great manager and there is such a pleasant vibe here, I've made some amazing friends who I will see again in the future! Thank you to Richard and Jo for having me.

I absolutely loved volunteering at the hostel. Ruth, Aidan and the other managers that we worked with were all kind, helpful and amazing people. Loved listening to their many travel stories and having a casual beer each night making our own memories of Scotland. The work was reasonable and fair, as well as a little fun. Will definitely come back for a visit in the future!!

Had an amazing time at the hostel. Couldn't have asked for a better place to start my volunteering journey. The hostel is in the charming small city of the hostel where you get to experience the Scottish daily life as well as the nature adventures like hiking and river rafting . The people are very friendly, both on the town and the hostel. And the hostel feels like a family with great management and awesome staff. I definitely recommend it!

Es sin dudas la mejor experiencia de voluntariado que he tenido!!! No puedo expresar con palabras lo agradecida que estoy con Richard, Ruth y Aiden, y también con todos los demás voluntarios que conocí. Compartí con gente de Francia, Estados Unidos, Canadá, España y Brasil, es el mejor lugar para conocer gente de otros lugares, otras culturas, otras comidas típicas y entablar grandes amistades. También logré sumergirme en la comida local, el pueblo y sus alrededores son bellísimos, todo está muy bien conectado y la hostal es hermosa, muy pintoresca y con un gran ambiente, mi Segunda Casa.
