An incredible experience was doing volunteer work cleaning a hostel in London. From the moment I arrived, I felt part of a diverse and welcoming community. My tasks included cleaning rooms, organizing common areas, and ensuring everything was tidy for the guests. Although it was hard work, it was rewarding to see how my efforts contributed to creating a comfortable space for travelers from all over the world. In my free time, I explored the city, met amazing people, and shared stories with guests. The experience taught me the importance of teamwork and made my time in London unforgettable.

My experience at the hostel was very positive. I had a wonderful experience with the other volunteers, and the kitchen was an ideal place to socialize and share experiences. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the food quality was good. The manager, Mederic, was always kind and attentive. The hostel's location was excellent, close to Hyde Park, with easy access to public transport and several supermarkets and shops. I highly recommend this volunteering opportunity, as it was personally enriching.

This was my first volunteering experience and it was amazing! The location is beautiful and close to many shops and museums. Mederic is a welcoming and warm host and makes the place feel like home. The tasks were simple and well organized, leaving plenty of time to explore the city and connect with other volunteers, who were awesome. I would love to come back here! Definitely a great place to stay and volunteer!

Overall, my experience was good but: this is NOT a hostel. It's a longterm residents building, you won't meet travelers (only the other volunteers). Food lasts 3 days only. Everything is constantly dirty: toilets stained daily, kitchens nasty and the whole building smells bad. Cleaning feels pointless since it's FILTHY again in the next hour. I was the only one put in a 5-bed room away from all volunteers, barely slept because of noise. DEFINITELY check reviews on booking/google before coming. DM me for details. 3/5 because the other volunteers were amazing and Mederic is a very nice manager.

When I arrived everybody was very kind. Though unfortunately, this hostel has a terrible bed bug infestation. I was bitten all over. When I talked to the assistant manager, he offered to switch my room but that wouldn't have changed anything because the bed bugs are everywhere (in the guest rooms as well). They gave us a steam machine but that didn't help. They wouldn't send a professional to get the place treated. They did offer to send someone to seal the ceiling but once again that won't get rid of the bed bugs. A real shame because otherwise everything else was great.

My stay at the hostel went very well, except for one thing. First of all, the hostel is very well located in a beautiful neighbourhood. The work is not too complicated or too long, and the food provided helps to reduce the budget considerably. Mederic is a very kind manager who is always willing to listen. The negative point that I have to mention is the presence of bedbugs. I am the first volunteer to have encountered this problem, so I am hopeful that it will be resolved quickly. Apart from this issue, I had a wonderful time at the hostel and met some lovely people.

It was my first volunteering experience and it was amazing! Perfect location, easy work, flexible shifts, and lots of awesome people from around the world. The team was super friendly and made me feel at home. Just note, it's more like a residence hall than a hostel, so some of the areas were dirtier and busier than expected, but it's okay. A few rooms among hostel residents had bed bugs — volunteers weren't affected, but sometimes had to clean those rooms unknowingly. Even though no one was infected, it would be better to know it beforehand. Still I'm happy and grateful for the experience!

The experience in the hostel was nice, it is in a really nice and safe neighbourhood, so it was easy to explore and discover London. The possibility of exchanging with people from different cultures was very interesting. The volunteers were nice people, and the team was very kind.

The location is amazing! Close to 2 tube stations, supermarkets, museums, parks and famous London spots. The work hours were respected and it's not a very hard work, room was good too, the other volunteers were very nice. It was a good place for my first volunteer experience.
