This experience was amazing and far exceeded our expectations. Everything was well organized, clear, and easy to manage from the start. The work was very fair and never heavy: taking care of the alpacas was a daily joy, and on some days we helped by cleaning the igloos. Having our own cozy guesthouse made the experience even better, giving us both comfort and the privacy while still feeling part way of the farm life. The nature, the animals and the shared dinners made every day enjoyable. We couldn't recommend this experience more!!

We truly don't have words to describe how incredible this experience was. Staying with the Ellingsen family was amazing from the very first day. We immediately felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at home. The farm is surrounded by nature that brings a deep sense of peace, and taking care of the alpacas was pure joy, they stole our hearts! Forest walks, shared dinners, long conversations, laughter, and cultural exchange made every day special. Kari-Anne is a warm, generous host who genuinely cares about her volunteers. We are incredibly grateful and will miss this experience so so much!!

My stay at Alpaca Garden was unforgettable! The animals are the cutest, the family is so nice and you can go to Oslo very easily! The tasks were fine, I had to take care of the alpacas and clean the iglus.☺️ Kari-Anne and her family are the nicest people - you feel like you are at home 💗 If we had any wishes, Kari-Anne always fulfilled them within minutes!! Our accomodation was amazing, a beautiful house🌷 All in all, I would absolutely recommend this place, it is perfect for connecting with locals and reconneting with nature and animals🦙🦙 I want to go there again😊❤️

Christmas markets, Alpaca Walks, guests visiting us, animal care and Christmas preperations! And in the middle of all this, we got 12 puppies (!) - we could not make this happen, without your fantastic help! I fulfilled my dream of working with alpacas (amazing animals!),and my expectations were more than exceeded. I had a wonderful time on the farm, and the family was incredibly warm and welcoming. Since Oslo isn't far away, it's easy to spend your days off there as well. Besides farm work, the job also includes cleaning the forest igloos you often see on Instagram^^, I think that work and walks through the forest are really enjoyable. If you're looking for farm work, peace, and nature, this is the perfect place—just keep in mind that farm work can be physically demanding. I'd definitely go back

My time at the alpaca farm was truly a great experience! Kari-Anne & her family made me feel so welcomed & at home. Her home cooked dinners were so so good!! Alpacas are of course such cute and calming animals & I have learnt a lot from working with them! The work is mostly alpaca care & cleaning igloos up in the forest but i had the opportunity to help out at the christmas markets as well!! :) I got to explore surrounding areas as well as Oslo & in general felt very cared for by the family, i would recommend this farm to anyone who loves animals & wants a break for the mind!! Much love xxx
