PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
the Social Work volunteer is responsible for assisting with all things social work. Many tasks will be office-oriented, including maintaining children’s files and updating child photographs, although you will have many opportunities to go on home visits and help conduct site visits. You bring us family! Team work id dream work.

Dettagli del programma

You are responsible for fulfilling the activities outlined in the description for which you are being called for. Failure to do so will result in either taking steps of accountability (reminders, etc.) or termination (in more serious circumstances), Please realize that other volunteers/interns are here to serve and work alongside you. Help you to learn the schedule for the home visitations and follow ups. Show you where things are like files, school supplies, clinics and so on. You must keep the office clean and organized.
All children must be signed out by the country director. NO child is allowed to go out with a volunteer without written permission. Only current volunteers may take children on outings.

Attività e turni

The following are the essential job activities of this position:
• Office Tasks:
o Assisting Social Workers with upkeep of children’s files, including performing file audits to guarantee that all proper paperwork has been gathered.
o Schedule routine photographs of every child, in order to print off, apply a date, and attach to each file.
• Field Work:
o Assisting Social Workers with site visits, including family monitoring, follow-up, and other related case work.
o Assisting Social Workers with various document collection, including visits to government offices (Probation, Police, etc.)

Regole

The volunteers will be entitled to read through our book of conduct policy that governs our ministry and we shall expect them to comply and follow with what is expected of them in their positions at Keep a Child’s Smile in deed and in attitude. By signing , He/she agrees that the violation of any of the included agreements is cause for a formal reprimand, including reminders, warnings, and even termination.
