Descrizione: Expand Peru relies on the contributions made by volunteers to sustain its programs. Your financial support covers essential expenses, including the purchase of materials for workshops and activities, wages of dedicated staff like psychologists, and your accommodation. Additionally, these contributions fund the administrative and operational costs that guarantee the continuity of this program. Fees are $150/week or $500/month.

This program is dedicated to supporting rural schools in the heart of the Peruvian Andes, where volunteers play a vital role in assisting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for children. You’ll have the chance to engage with students of all ages, providing additional support in the classroom and bringing fresh perspectives through workshops on topics related to your expertise, hobbies or home country. Here's how:

• Classroom assistance: working alongside local teachers, offering extra help during lessons, facilitating activities, and ensuring students stay engaged and supported.

• Workshops: sharing your knowledge, skills and culture by organizing workshops on topics such as language, culture, sports or creative arts.

Attività e turni

You will work from 8:00 to 13:00, Monday to Friday. These are the types of activities our volunteers typically perform:

• Help the little ones with their school activities
• Lead arts, crafts, drawing, and painting activities
• Play with the children
• Create their own workshops and games to entertain and educate the kids: from talks about their home countries to games and cooking classes
