This was my first experience as a worldPacker and I couldn't have hoped for anything better! I had the opportunity to do several different tasks, which was great fun. It's the perfect place for people who want to experience the Highlands surrounded by breathtaking nature. You have the opportunity to work with a large team from all over the world, which facilitates cooperation and dialogue. You have a lot of freedom to organise your own time and it is possible to be driven to certain places if required.

The host is a welcoming place — a true hidden gem. The schedule was respected, and on my days off I got to explore the stunning surroundings, which felt straight out of a movie. It's a full immersion in Highland life, with nature all around—forests, lochs, and mountains. I'd recommend this volunteer experience for anyone who enjoys socializing, cooking, and learning new skills and cultures. I'll definitely miss the beautiful days in the host and the warm-hearted people I met there.

The place is stunning and the experience was wonderful. The owners are charming and welcome you with open arms. The only downside is that the family dynamic, and therefore the volunteering itself, is very chaotic, which means that most of the time we volunteers end up organizing and solving problems that it should be up to the owners or manager. Beyond that, this experience is absolutely worth it.

Thank you Flor -it was great to have you here and the support you gave us with great spirit and energy .... and thank you for the suggestion - always trying to get better .... we call it "orderly chaos " as the team had great awareness this summer - everything flows somehow - even in the midst of craziness - which can accrue ... even in Torridon ;-) Safe travels and see you again Felix & Sarah

I had a great time in the host! All the other volunteers were so nice and I really felt welcome! The management can be a bit chaotic but they're really kind and well-meaning people. The surrounding nature is absolutely gorgeous and we did many outdoor activities. The place is really remote, which means that you're quite dependent on the people with cars, but it's a great place if you're looking for a break from the city. Thank you so much for an amazing month, with lots of lovely memories!

A beautiful location with amazing hikes. Prepare to work and if you're a digital nomad I would not recommend this space although the host was incredibly accommodating and helpful in trying to get things to work for me. The other volunteers were some of the most amazing people I've met. Wasn't able to stay long so I can't say much more.

Came for a cultural exchange as a qualified chef & professional — faced racism, exclusion, mismanagement, and gaslighting. Given a Dirty bed upon arrival, no intro, false promises, ignored input, and microaggressions daily. Felix is abusive total opposite of a Buddhist. Sara lost my respect for her as a woman entirely and she knows why. Manager unprofessional; owners dishonest. Was left stranded on street , sick, with no help. This was not cultural exchange — it was exploitation. A toxic, unsafe place. Proceed with extreme caution, especially if Black, outspoken, or against oppression. 0/0
