L'esperienza

During winter time, we split our time between an apartment and the farm, since we have fewer tasks during winter season at the farm. When we are staying in the apartment, at the seaside, there is the possibility to give some help in the house for painting, building, maintenance, etc… anything that can make the space more comfortable! If you have some special skills or projects that you like to propose and start, you are very welcome to do it.

Dettagli del programma

From November to March the accommodation is in an apartment where you can stay and where you have bathroom and a kitchen to use (we do not provide food). The apartment is to share with the other volunteers, it is a big open space, but there are curtains that help us to have some privacy.

Most of the time we will ask 4 hours help per day or if you prefer to do more and have some more days off, that is fine for us. You can organize your time as you like according to the task to do and we can discuss everything and find the right balance and solution for everyone.

PS: In Summer we need 1 or 2 volunteers max to keep the appartmant in order, clean and do some mantenece in the mean time that the others volunteers will be at the farm.

Attività e turni

- From April to September, you can help with the cleaning of the fruit tree.
- In the end of September, we usually need help for grape piking and wine making (all in the traditional way). For the olive season, we need help for the picking and you can experience the making of olive oil process.
- During the rest of the year November to March the volunteers can stay in the house at the seaside there is the possibility to give some help in the house for painting, building, etc.
