Teaching and taking care of children in Rural Area

I was really excited about this experience but it was not as I was expecting. 1) Wyinoo who speaks with you through the website was not there to explain how everything works and had no plains to get there in the following days. 2) the guys that were at the foundation when I got there did not speak english at all. So the commucation was really hard and was not possible to know the schedule. 3) 200BHT must be paid which is supposed to go for the cleanning, but the bathroom and kitchen was really dirty and the bed is really unconfortable.

We just talked about this poor communication for this Bangkok base.

We will try to resolve it by hiring Full time staff or some people to help volunteers.

January , We will had one English speaking volunteer to live here and assist the new volunteer.

We are running this works by using freelance staff who did not get Salary.

We want to make our cost to be minimum as we want to let our 2,000 students in our schools partners to had chance to learn English with minimum cost.

Teaching English to children in the organization was a very beautiful experience for me. The students are lovely! The teenagers are very messers and this made me respect even more the work of teachers. The accommodation is not good. the kitchen sink is in the boys' bathroom, this is not at all hygienic. In addition, the fee for the sheets is not reported on the job offer. And attention, do not accept the transportation that the school indicates. is almost double the price of the normal taxi.

The Taxi driver cost for public meter taxi is 300-500 THB.

The service we recommended just for helping the volunteers to come smoothly.

I was very upset when I first arrived as there was no one to greet me and I could not get hold of Winyoo (the organiser). When I was finally let into my accommodation after some hassle, it was incredibly unhygienic and obvious that the place had not been cleaned for a very long time - there were insects and toenails everywhere... I also stayed here for 2 weeks on my own which was very lonely. Asides the above, I loved teaching the children as they were very sweet and playful! Though the local teachers with me didn't speak English, they were very welcoming and helpful at all times :)

What can I say? It was my first volunteering experience and I really really really enjoyed it. The hosts are great and the kids are so sweet and fun and willing to learn! I definitely recommend it!

It was amazing the time that I spent on the foundation. The kids are lovely and the foundation it is a very nice place to stay for awhile, once the location is very good and the place is nice. I had to teach only two hours per day, so I had time to prepare the classes and explore the organization. I am very grateful that I had this experience.

This was my first experience on Worldpackers and it couldnt be better! The kids are so lovely and fun, the teachers and people from foundation really takes care of you, and this turned my last 3 weeks into a life time experience I will never forget. I was teaching only 2 hours a day during the weekdays and have lots of time to explore the organization. You may fell a bit lost when you just arrive cause sometimes there is no one to explain, but just talk to them and they will do their best to help and assist you. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!!! :D

We loved our stay at the organization foundation, we was a little unsure about things at the start but we had a lovely volunteer show us the ropes and quickly got into the routine. The kids and teachers are great and the hosts are very helpful if you need anything. Would love to come back sometime in the future.

It is a nice place to develop yourself and give back to the community the good things life have given to you. The place it is quite cozy and also the friendly staff. I just wish some more orientation at the beginning, but not that big deal for experienced volunteers. Thanks.

Be a volunteer in the organization Fundation was the best thing I could do in my life. I highly recommend this experience for everybody. The accommodation is very comfy, you are very free to do your teaching programme, the hours are not too long, the rules are easy to follow, and the kids are amazing. Unfortunately I only stayed 2 weeks, but if I had more time definitely I would get more weeks.
