I had a wonderful time at the home, I got to do lots of different work like laying floor tiles, gardening, installing rose arches for the garden and demolition of old structures. You will work hard, but Faye is organized so you always know what to work on and expectations are clear which makes it very satisfying. the home is located in a quiet peaceful rural environment, and i found such a nice little community of other travelers working at the home along with faye and her family who are very welcoming. This was my first Worldpackers stay and it was a great choice :)

We really enjoyed this Worldpackers experience and felt very welcomed by Faye into her family. The work tasks were well structured with clear instructions that were easy to follow. The bikes and game room were great at fostering community, and we enjoyed the nightly family dinners. The property was very nice and the dogs were so friendly! Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my time at the home! Faye was a great and respectful host, the work was hard but rewarding, and I made some new friends along the way! I would say there is probably more to do in the summer, but sitting around the fire and relaxing was nice for the winter time. If you want to meet other travelers and spend time outside this is a great fit for you. Thanks for the hospitality Faye and family!

We really enjoyed our time at the home! The French countryside is beautiful, as was the home. Some of the highlights were family-style dinners with the family and all the volunteers, and cuddles by the fire with Scratch and Sam! Faye was really responsive before and throughout our stay and she made sure we had everything we needed. As a remote worker, sometimes the wifi connection was unreliable especially during stormy weather. Faye expects hard work and progress with your tasks, so be ready to put in the time and effort!

A anfitriã é bem organizada, me hospedou em um excelente local com toda a estrutura. Infelizmente eu não executei as tarefas nos prazos propostos por não ter experiência e ficar buscando a perfeição na limpeza, o que me deixou muito frustrada e, acho, que decepcionei a anfitriã com isso. Conhecer os demais voluntários e trocar experiências com eles foi algo incrível. Um agradecimento super especial para a voluntária Camille por literalmente salvado a minha vida, não fosse a ajuda dela eu poderi ter caído do último andar de uma escada ao limpar um armário na cozinha. THANK YOU CAM, MY HERO!!

I had a great time at the home! Faye is an incredible host; friendly, organized, and hospitable even when busy. Volunteers receive tasks lists upon arriving and hours are quite flexible (so long as you finish your tasks). I felt very comfortable here and enjoyed going on walks in the fields nearby. I would absolutely recommend it, especially if you're wanting to try a homestay :) The dogs, Sam and Scratch, were also wonderful . Thank you Faye for the lovely experience and I hope to come back someday 😊😊

Being at the home was my first experience as a volunteer and it was excellent. I am very grateful to Faye, for giving me the possibility of being at home, for his time, his kindness and being so good with me. Thanks for everything Faye! I loved being part of your projects and learning so much while in your home, I'll miss you. Super super recommendable 🩷

Faye is a host extraordinaire. She is welcoming as she is organized and efficient! Each volunteer has a task sheet outlining precisely what is expected. Due to the size of the home and scope of projects needing completion, organization is key. I also felt there was some flexibility. The work was hard and physically demanding yet satisfying. We planted many hydrangeas. We all came together in the main house for dinners Faye prepared. There I got to know the other volunteers. Sadly I got pretty sick & couldn't give 100%. Didn't want to expose anyone else. Felt it best that I leave.

Muchas gracias por todo Faye, Ben y Mariyah❤️ Fue una experiencia y estadía maravillosa, nos dimos cuenta de que somos capaces de lograr todo lo que nos proponemos y cumplir cada desafío que nos diste como proyecto, que los límites no existen y que siempre se puede más !! Gracias por cocinarnos cada día y tan delicioso 😋 en este voluntariado te sientes como en casa, la hospitalidad y amabilidad de cada integrante de la familia fue excepcional! también Scratch y Sam (los 🐕 de la casa) son muy simpáticos y divertidos😁.. Espero volver en algún futuro para participar de este hermoso proyecto ❤️

Muchas gracias por todo Faye, Ben y Mariyah 🤍por abrirnos las puertas de tu casa y de tu familia, por recibirnos con tanto entusiasmo y energía! Fue una estadía maravillosa y nuestro proyecto sacó toda la fuerza de mujer power que llevo dentro, si bien fue una tarea pesada al finalizar cada día me sentía feliz de haber logrado el objetivo y darme cuenta que puedo lograr todo! Gracias por cocinar cada día para todos y tan rico, disfrutamos mucho las cenas todos juntos, se sintió como en casa, algo que extrañábamos mucho. Esperamos volver algún día y seguir ayudando con tus proyectos futuros 🫶🏻
