Después de solo dos días, me sentí como en casa, y extendí mi estancia. Tenía tiempo para explorar Oaxaca, y volviendo al hostal tenía una familia entre los otros voluntarios. El trabajo era claro, como esperaba después de leer el anuncio. Trabajaba en la recepción, hablaba con los huéspedes, y ayudaba con los eventos sociales. Jaime y Fabian son amables y simpáticos; listos para ayudar con cualquier pregunta y asegurar que todos los voluntarios se sientan bienvenidos. Muchísimas gracias por mi tiempo aquí; los desayunos, la oportunidad de aprender el idioma y la cultura, y la amistad. <3

El hostel fue un hogar para mi desde el primer día, Fabi y Jaime son un amor de personas y se encargan de que te sientas cómoda y disfrutes mucho! Las horas en recepción no son pesadas y te da tiempo de seguir conociendo lugares cada día. Definitiva una experiencia que recomiendo al 1000%

For me, this is best hostel where to stay as a volunteer. Fabi and Jaime are wonderful people that put lots of love in their hostel, their community and their staff. They have lots of experience with volunteers and offer a great work environment and training in reception tasks. In exchange, you get two free days a week, a bed in a nice shared room and the opportunity to socialize. I learned massively about running a hostel and hospitality. I would suggest volunteering here if you can speak at least some Spanish, want to explore Mexican culture and are happy to work/live with a team.

Fabi y Jaime son los mejores, siempre están al pendiente de que todo esté en orden tanto en el hostal como con los voluntarios, se preocupan mucho por sus voluntarios. El trabajo en el hostal es tal cual lo mencionan ellos, las horas son muy buenas y los días libres también. Este voluntariado es muy bueno para darte la oportunidad de conocer la ciudad de Oaxaca, ademas de que conocerás a muchas personas de todo el mundo mientras lo haces.

Tengo un profundo agradecimiento por todo el amor que hay dentro del hostel. No sólo es una experiencia enriquecedora como voluntario pues te permite desarrollar tus habilidades sociales, adentrarte en la cultura local de manera auténtica, en un ambiente de respeto donde la relación de intercambio se genera de manera honesta y justa , siempre respetando tiempos y brindándote un cómodo lugar para descansar, ser voluntario aquí te vuelve al sentido de familia y hogar pues Jaime Y Fabi son dos seres humanos excepcionales que te abren las puertas de su corazón. From far one OF the best hostels I had the privilege to volunteer at. Our Hosts/Managers are THE best, quality of people, warm hearts, fun to be around and they treat us like friends. The common areas are great and cozy. I missed breakfast once and it REALLY hurt cuz it IS so tasty and traditional mexican. I probably gained a couple kilos in Oaxaca by all the delicious and fresh food there is in town and markets. The location can't be better, walking distance to most places of interest and entertainment. I already wanna go back! Gracias ❤️💛💚

My experience at the hostel was incredible. The hostel itself is beautiful - a perfect balance of social and relaxing environments, an ideal space to spend a time volunteering. I can't imagine better hosts than Jaime and Fabi. They made me feel so welcome and are always around to help. The tasks are straightforward and the hostel's (almost) nightly events are a great opportunity to connect with the guests and other volunteers. Volunteers have their own separate area with a full bathroom. The fresh, homemade breakfast each day had to be one of the highlights! Thank you so much!

Fabian y Jaime son muy buenas personas, he disfrutado mucho mi estadía con ellos y con los otros voluntarios. Las tareas que tenía que hacer fueron las acordadas, una gran experiencia que recomiendo a todas las personas que quieran sentirse como en su casa, en un ambiente muy ameno y conociendo gente de todas partes del mundo. El hostel es muy limpio y muy hermoso, todas las noches hay diferentes actividades.

Amazing experience in a beautiful hostel filled to the brim with good vibes and good people! The volunteers get a big shared room with enough space for everybody, great breakfast and the opportunity to participate in the engaging hostel events. The whole team is very loveable and the hosts Fabi and Jaime made me feel 100% welcome - very recommendable!

Fabi y Jaime son OTRO pedo! No tengo palabras para explicar la calidad de humanos, personas muy hermosas que buscan que en todo momento te sientas bien! El hostal es muy bonito y limpio, el equipo es muy lindo, todos con una vibra padrísima, definitivamente voy a extrañar este lugar y Oaxaca es una ciudad perfecta!! Gracias 🙏🏻🧡
