The good: the atmosphere is great because of the people there. I had a great time with my fellow volunteers and the owner Adela is very nice. The bad: 1) the A/C is not allowed to be used most of the year; it gets extremely hot. 2) I stayed for a month and there was no functional microwave the whole time. 3) The bar did not have running water for most of my time as a bartender; there were also just about 8 cups for the whole bar 4) next to a church whose bells ring late at night and early in the morning If these are things you don't mind, I would recommend.

My time at the hostel was amazing, and I can not imagine getting a better experience somewhere else. Everyone who worked there was lovely, the hours were exactly as agreed upon and I could get answers to any questions I had. The location of the hostel is great, right in the middle of the city with easy access to buses if you wish to venture further. I hope I'll be able to meet everyone I got to know there again some day!

Great atmosphere here, and while there is a high standard of work expected of you, the hours are very manageable and there is always help and support available. Would definitely recommend!

Mi estadía en el hostel fue super buena y recomendable. Estuvimos un tiempo con un dia libre por semana por falta de staff pero no se sintió para nada incomodo debido a que las tareas son bastante sencillas, recepcion, limpieza y actividades con los huespedes, como ir a la playa. Adela, la dueña, es muy buena onda y educada, siempre nos trato super bien y se pone a trabajar a la par del staff. Se hospedan muchas personas de todo el mundo por lo que es una buena oportunidad para practicar ingles y español, ademas de hacer muchos amigos. Muy buena ubicación tambien! Sin dudas recomiendo

A great place to learn about professional cleaning techniques that can help you in the future! You will get to meet and work with some great people and possibly make some lifetime connections. I love that this place is run by women and it definitely has the woman's touch, including all the pretty colors and plant life. Kudos, ladies! Overall, you will learn, work hard, meet great people, and experience one of the best beach views I've ever seen. Please remember to wake up early, head to the rooftop, and watch the sunrise over the ocean. I will miss that.

Mi tiempo en el hostel no pudo ser mejor, todo el staff te recibe con los brazos abiertos desde el primer día, se convirtieron en mi familia de Puerto Vallarta. Con respecto a las horas de trabajo se cumplieron a lo acordado y si tenías cualquier duda los mismos del staff te ayudaban. Una experiencia que la recomiendo 100%

Voluntariar en el hostel fue una de mis mejores experiências de voluntariado! Adela, Dave y toda la gente fue muy amable y siempre mi respectaram mucho. Las instalaciones del hostel son muy buenas, con cocina, buenas duchas y la ubicacion es perfecta. los horarios y dias libres son respectados y ademas es posible disfrutar de la ciudad en tus dias libres y en el shift donde lleva los huespedes a hacer tour. Recomendo el hostel a todos!

If you are looking for a volunteer experience in Mexico, this is the place to go. I had the most incredible 5 weeks here. The owner Adela and managers Dave and Travis were amazing, they welcomed me with open arms and gave me endless advice on anything I needed. The group of volunteers here were also the best and I left the hostel with lots of lifelong friends. The work here was very reasonable also, plenty of time for exploring and socialising. the hostel is in a great location, right by the beach, walking distance to clubs, bars restaurants. Best volunteer experience, get yourself here!
