The hostel is nice and offers many activities every day, which is a positive point. However, the missions between the worldpackers are very unequal. Cleaning is by far the most difficult and least rewarding. Some of the staff weren't very nice to me. Finally, the main problem: I wouldn't recommend this experience if you're not fluent in Portuguese or Spanish. It was very difficult to integrate with the rest of the staff who didn't speak a word of English. It's still an interesting mission to meet the hostel's guests.

I had a good time working at the hostel. The rotas are sent in advance, and you can request to have your days off with other volunteers. The work hours were always as agreed, and they were very understanding and flexible when I was ill and couldn't work one of my shifts. All the benefits advertised were available to us, including breakfast - you will get bread and coffee. It is easy to make friends because the hostel is very sociable. The location of the hostel is great, close to the beach and lots of shops. It is in a favela but this didn't cause any issues for me. Thank you for everything❤️

Fue mi primer voluntariado y no pude haber escogido un mejor lugar. el hostel es mágico, Felipe siempre está pendiente de todos, el staff es maravilloso y los voluntarios se vuelven tu familia. Para mí fue como vivir en una película. Es el mejor lugar para conocer Río, su cultura y también para hacer amigos de todo el mundo. Llevaré al hostel por siempre en mi corazón y volveré cada vez que la vida me lo permita 💚

The hostel ha sido la mejor experiencia de mi vida, fue mi primer voluntariado y tuve un muy buen recibimiento, sin duda la energía del hostel y la gente que trabaja en él hace la diferencia y hacen que tu experiencia sea única. Limpieza es un trabajo agotador pero realmente vale muchísimo la pena. Además Felipe es muy atento y está siempre preocupado.

Me quedé un mes en the hostel, y superó mis expectativas. Es un gran lugar para conocer gente de todo el mundo, aprender de la cultura carioca y disfrutar de todo lo bueno que tiene la ciudad! Una experiencia totalmente recomendable. 💜🙌🏻

My stay at the hostel was truly unforgettable, largely due to the extraordinary people I encountered who quickly became like a family to me. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the place enhanced my time in Rio in ways I hadn't imagined. The staff was exceptionally helpful and cordial, always ready to offer advice on what to do and see in this vibrant City. The hostel's facilities were clean and well-maintained, with the best location, a really short distance from the beach!I will love you all for ever, thank you!

Estive na recepção durante novembro de 2023 e foi uma experiência incrível, o hostel recebe muitos hóspedes estrangeiros o que faz com que a conexão internacional seja um dos pontos mais fortes da casa. Nós dormimos nos quartos compartilhados com os hóspedes fazendo com que a casa toda interaja. Todo dia tem um free tour e uma atividade à noite no bar + uma opção de festa grátis para ir, com certeza vc não ficará sem saber o que fazer ou como aproveitar o Rio. O café da manhã é simples e uma delícia. As atividades são tranquilas e sempre dentro do horário que é enviado semanalmente.

O que dizer sobre o hostel?! Meus 4 meses nesse lugar foi uma das melhores experiências da minha vida… Um lugar mágico onde fiz muitos amigos e tive experiências que vou levar para sempre em minha vida!!! Esse é o lugar ideal para quem busca se conectar com pessoas de todos os lugares do mundo! Somente agradecimentos ao Felipe, Dalton, toda a equipe de Staff e os voluntários que fizeram parte da minha história no hostel 🫶🏻

Passar pelo hostel foi uma baita aprendizado e certeza que voltarei , um lugar de fácil acesso a tudo e a todos , muitas amizades , muitas histórias que com certeza vou carregar comigo, e simm super indico o lugar
