L'esperienza

Our Hostel is centrally located in a beautiful heritage-listed building. We offer free WIFI, Netflix, free security parking. We are located in the centre of the city with the beach at our back door. If you would like to help us with some housekeeping and cleaning in exchange for free accommodation, for 3-3.5 hours per day, and gain valuable experience helping at Backpacker accommodation, then please apply. We would love to hear from you.

Dettagli del programma

Daily duties will include:

- housekeeping duties
- Cleaning the rooms
- vacuuming
- Cleaning the bathrooms/toilets
- Cleaning the kitchen (night)
- Hanging out and folding up the laundry
- Sweeping and cleaning the garden and outdoor areas

Additional duties may include:
-Other cleaning duties as required

You will have plenty of time to enjoy the beach and explore our fabulous town

Attività e turni

The shift is approximately 3.5 hours day, less if not busy. A list of tasks will be assigned to each volunteer, if you are an efficient worker you will get through quicker. Your morning shift will commence at 9.30 am in the morning. Kitchen commences at 8.30pm at night When you have completed your list of duties you will be able to explore the town and its many attractions and enjoy the Foreshore Esplanade and the beaches. You will be taught kitchen cleaning day of arrival, commencing at 8.30pm. Our hostel prides itself in the high standard housekeeping and cleanliness it offers to all its guests. You will be required to assist us to uphold this standard, so an eye for detail is required. We are not a party hostel, so if your looking for a party hostel please do not apply. Please note: We do not supply food, a supermarket is within walking distance.

Regole

You must be an experienced volunteer. You must commit to at least 4 weeks. As this is a business, you must be capable of carrying out the duties to the required standard. Training will be given, and will be ongoing as required, if however you are unable to complete the tasks as required your time may be terminated.
