My experience in Faro was definitely one to remember for my first time volunteering with workdpackers. Although before we arrived we were switched hostels, and moved onto a different job than we were promised. The host was kind enough to work with us and accommodate us the best he could. The staff and other volunteers there are all very kind, and I had a wonderful time getting to know each of them. Be warned before you volunteer here that there is a great lack of communication. schedules were not made until very late the night before and sometimes we wouldn't know when we worked until 2am.

Firstly, absolutely loved the staff in our hostel, including our immediate manager lived there as well. Once we arrived we were switched from our previously agreed upon jobs to more of a manual labor position, and although we decided to stay on that job, the head boss gave us the option to move hostels, jobs, and shifts with no problem. All the staff were so friendly & helpful. The work was reasonable, but we just had some issues with communication here and there. Schedules being changed late in the night, not always sure where to go or when, but we always figured it out and had a good time

This was my first experience as a volunteer and I was very satisfied, I felt welcomed by the volunteers and the accommodation I stayed in was comfortable and clean. As Nuno has more than one property the dynamics of the work can vary, but the properties are very close and the scale was well organized. I didn't have information or communication problems, which made it a lot easier :) The city is a separate spectacle, each day of the month was special for me. Thank you, Nuno!

Esse foi meu primeiro voluntariado. Tive uma experiência maravilhosa, o anfitrião nos recebeu super bem, cumprindo com tudo que foi combinado. As tarefas são fáceis de executá-las. Conheci pessoas incríveis. Com o tempo livre e as folgas deu para conhecer várias cidades ao redor de Faro. O hostel é muito bem localizado. Fiquei muito feliz em fazer esse voluntariado. Gratidão ao anfitrião por tudo que nos proporcionou.

Fui muito bem recebida pelo Nuno e sua equipe de voluntários. O hostel é organizado e limpo e as tarefas são fáceis e dentro do combinado. Conheci pessoas de vários países e fiz novas amizades. Obrigada pelos dias aqui 😊

It was an incredible experience, thanks to the super nice team for the warm welcome and support, it was a pleasure to work with such cool people. Our hostel's tasks were quite simple and understandable, the host is very welcoming, we learned about the local culture and met a lot of cool volunteers there. Definitely recommend it and hope to come back again!

Minha primeira experiência em Portugal foi ótima. Tudo conforme combinado, um ótimo lugar para desenvolver outros idiomas. A localidade é maravilhosa e Faro é uma cidade incrível. Amei compartilhar aprender com os demais voluntários que foram sempre amáveis e amigos. Obrigada pela oportunidade, espero voltar.

Fui muito bem recebida pelo anfitrião e pelos outros voluntariados, que me orientaram sobre as tarefas e também me deram muitas dicas de passeios na cidade e região. Há flexibilidade caso haja necessidade. O serviço é leve, o almoço é muito bom, os horários são cumpridos como é informado e a acomodação no geral estava em boas condições. Ótima localização, a cidade é linda e agradável. Amei a experiência e agradeço a oportunidade. Recomendo!
