El voluntariado en el hostel fue sin dudas uno de los mejores que he hecho principalmente por la propuesta social que tiene el hostel. Todos los días es posible conocer gente divertida y se forma un clima muy lindo con todo el Staff. Las tareas son acordes al intercambio y es posible tener varios días libres por semana para descansar o viajar cerca de Porto, que además es una ciudad increíble. Espero que mi camino se cruce pronto con el hostel nuevamente!

Perfect place for extroverted people. You will have the chance to meet a lot of travelers, go out to parties and get to know the city. The staff is most welcoming and the working hours are rather flexible to combine with other activities. If you have any further questions don't hesitate to send me a message.

Awesome experience!! I spend the best 6 weeks in the hostel. Truly a social hostel and amazing to meet lots of people. The work doesnt even feel like work at all and you become a family with the other volunteers. Cant recommend it enough! If you like partying and meeting people, then this is the position for you. Thanks Melanie and the hostel for having me!

The hostel is amazing place, Melanie is super flexible and open to talk and supply ours personal necessity. I had amazing time in the hostel and super grateful for all the persons that I meet. Big cheers for staff room, that have the best structure till now in my volunteers experiences.

I had such a wonderlful experience at the hostel Ribeira! The staff and the guests were always super nice and respectful. I felt like we had a little family far from home! Mel is the greatest manager and always reminded us that we could go to her for anything! Thank you the hostel Ribeira for these wonferful weeks, can't wait to come back!

It was amazing my time at the hostel Ribeira. I met so many cool people and the staff became my family, still in touch with them and probably getting back soon! I definitely recommend volunteering at this hostel and making amazing memories such as I did. <3

I absolutely loved the 4 weeks I spent at H1 with Mel (the manager) and the other volunteers. I truly made some great friends in the other volunteers and staff and loved the overall atmosphere of the hostel. The guests are great, the hours completely manageable and there was some flexibility and the volunteering experience overall was incredibly positive. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a social and fun environment and want to have a good time!

Lived my first experience as a volunteer was amazing even though I didn't remember my english haha, but it was a great opportunity to able to put in practice it, with doubts if you decide to come to this hostel you will have a unique experience. You will make new friends and develop new skills! The guests and the others volunteers are very friendly and Vanessa (the manager) is very dedicated, attentive and always available! the hostel Ribeira you are in my heart ♥

I loved doing my first volunteering at this hostel. If you like to hang out and talk with guests, this is a great place! I had stayed in other hostels as a guest and had never seen such a great vibe with the guests. Vanessa is very dedicated to the hostel and attentive to others. Every hostel is different and there we got to da little bit of everything and we have free days too. I thought it best to do it this way. Recommend this place if you are a guest or staff. I had a very good exchange with Vanessa and the volunteers who were with me. the hostel family 🤍
