By helping at one of our hostels, you are helping AMI’s (Foundation for International Medical Assistance) social equipment nationally and also contributing to local projects in Africa, Asia, Central and South America. Join this great mission and help us with check-ins & check-outs, weekends, booking systems, payments, guest assistance and general cleaning & tidying.

Turno di Notte: Aiuta con i compiti del turno di notte e crea un ambiente rilassante per gli ospiti.

Pulizia: Aiuta a pulire la cucina, le camere da letto, i bagni e le aree comuni.

Pulizia camere: Aiuta con il cambio della biancheria da letto e le pulizie generali.

Reception: Aiuta con check-in, check-out e assistenza agli ospiti.

Descrizione: The city of Porto requires paying 21 EUR of city tax (3 EUR per person/night for the first 7 nights).

What will be part of your day-to-day life as a volunteer on the Change the World Porto team:

Morning Tasks:


Organize and clean common spaces

Packing laundry clothes

Make beds

Help at reception with check-ins

Escort guests to their rooms

Cleaning every 2 hours of common spaces (includes kitchen, living room and bathrooms)


Night shift:

Ensure check-ins

Escort guests to their rooms

Guide and assist guests
