L'esperienza

We need an entusiatic and knowledgeble person that is able to work comfortably around our horses, some of task you will be caring: Clean paddocks, prepare horses for riders and clean them up after riding, help with maintenance and daily care for horses you may be required to move horses between fields/stables.
There may be the opportunity to ride and exercise our horses depending on the level of your riding.

Dettagli del programma

This its a grooming position

We require:
A video of yourself performing ridding and/or ground work
A minimum stay of three months, being somewhat flexible with persons that have specific experience to share with us.
Experienced with horses
Good physical conditions, as many of the jobs require strength
Basic Spanish is highly required, as big part of the team is Spanish. So, knowledge of it is a plus!
A great passion for learning as well as a lot of energy in participating in a very special project.

Attività e turni

Rotational, 5 days a week, 2 days off

Cleaning the Outdoor Paddocks from the horse/donkeys poop (1.5 hour a day)
Preparing horses for riders
Helping to move the horses on fields
Cleaning the used materials/equipment from the day/ the riding arena each afternoon (all stable team does it together)
Riding the horses as needed for training (horses for hacks / school horses) depending on the volunteer riding skills, the head of stable will take a decision after a skill check on site - Ridding it’s not regular - volunteers are mostly grooming and assisting our riders and trainers.
