We have a farm on the Sicilian hills, with a sight for the seaside! We have animals to take care of and fruit trees, vineyard, olive tree, and vegetable garden, so we have a lot of tasks to do, according to the season. If you have some experience with farm work, you are more than welcome to help and teach us some things as well. If you have no experience, but are willing to help and learn, you are also more than welcome! Work hard, play harder :)

The experience was really nice, I help with the farm a small shelter at the farm and clean the apartment. I also have a chance to work with at the print shop. Danilo and Filipo are very kind and nice.

Although I had a lovely time in Italy and Filippo is a kind and genuine soul, the experience was different from what I had expected. As Filippo does not live in Sicily himself the farm had not been taken care of in the last 8 months. Few plants were alive (no water) and the farm was full of weeds. In the end, there wasn't much to do for me there so I ended up staying at an appartement a few villages away and helped Filippo with some cleaning tasks in the appartement complex. I didn't mind the work but I had come to Italy to learn more about plants and nature. Still had a great time, though :)

True Sicilian life. We were collecting olives on beautiful farm. Enviroment was perfect, food simple and tasty. Exactly what we needed. There will be always lot of work to do and I hope, always a lot of awesome people to help with it. Thank for great time.

Filippo and Karin are wonderful to be around. For someone that isn't used to farm work I would probably not recommend doing olive picking. I did not like it at first but then at the end and and after it was done I started to miss it alot. Understandably so for me, who doesn't do much of a work outside, I became to like it and my body finally got what it wanted (physical activity and waking up in the actual morning) so I even started to feel more healthy. Can't wait to see you guys again!

Thank you for this great experience :) it was very nice to stay at the farm which is very minimalistic and cosy, perfect to get in touch with nature. Make sure to take the shortcuts when going to Alì Terme and try hitchhiking! You can charge your devices at Todaro (best gelato place you'll find). The beach is very nice and not touristy at all, very calm. Going to towns nearby by train is very easy and reliable. The work was good, it always depends on the season what your tasks will be. Leaticia&Steven were great always ready to give an hand for any task needed.
They took a good care af the plant and make them reborn from the great heat we had in Sicily this year.
