I had a wonderful stay with Andy and Joe. For someone seeking both a vacation and cultural exchange, it was the perfect choice. I hadn't planned to improve my English, but thanks to them I did so naturally. I helped Andy with simple household tasks, and Sheffield proved a peaceful place for walks. You're treated as a friend, making it more personal than a typical volunteer stay. What began as a fun holiday became a step in my personal growth, and I left with two lifelong friendships.

Andy is open, warm and incredibly self-transparent. From the very first message/call, he made me feel trusted and welcome. This isn't a regular Worldpackers' experience, but one focused on personal growth, emotional connection and real cultural exchange. You aren't welcomed as a volunteer, but as a helper and friend in order to the home together. Besides, I had space for self-discovery and for myself, including a trip to London. We also had deep conversations which I never expected to have. During the time I spent there, we formed a true bond, so I only wish I could have stayed longer.

A Peaceful and Enrich staying if you're looking for more personal experience than a hostel or group project is a great choice. Staying with Andy and Joe felt like being welcome to calm cozy home with amazing food, and grateful thoughtful conversations the home safe and relaxed atmosphere. This area is peaceful and perfect for downtime yet close enough to Sheffield city centre for day trips and meals are provided and delicious and there is a good good balance between time with your hosts and space explore or work in your own project I'd righty recommend this stay especially for as a first host

Staying with Andy truly felt like home—I was welcomed as a friend from day one. The atmosphere sparks creativity, and there's always something to do, for yourself or around the house, without feeling overwhelming. Some of the best moments were the days visiting places with Andy and Joe, or the late-night talks about social issues, self-awareness, and life in general. It's not just a place to be hosted—it's a second home where you feel truly cared for and loved. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that, if you're open to it, can help you grow and become a better version of yourself.
