I had a great time in the hostel, the work was not hard , Balazs was very patient and helpful and it was a great place to meet people and make friends! My first volunteer work and I am very pleased with the experience.

I recommend volunteering here. Since the hostel isn't too big, it's easy to connect with both travelers and fellow volunteers. Balázs is very warm, friendly, and always joking around, which adds to the welcoming vibe. the hostel is a nice place to relax, and I often got to enjoy fresh figs straight from the tree～

Estar en el hostel, se siente como un abrazo al corazón, Balázs. quiere algo cálido y con alma y el lugar sin duda lo cumple, estar en contacto con todos los huespedes, hablar con ellos, es tan enriquecedor. Balázs es un una persona muy amable, conoce a la perfección la ciudad, así que te dará las mejores recomendaciones para vivir como un verdadero húngaro. Las tareas son fáciles de hacer, claras y la mayoría de veces muy rápidas de hacer. sin duda un hostal, con alma y corazón.

Me ha encantado mi experiencia en el hostel 😍 Desde el primer día me sentí cómo en casa. Es un lugar ideal para conocer gente nueva todos los días y compartir experiencias con todos los huéspedes y voluntarios. El jardín es precioso, para descansar y relajarte. Balasz siempre ha sido amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo. Cualquier cosa que necesites o recomendaciones, él te ayuda y aconseja. Y por supuesto, super cocinero, que nos cocinó comida tipica para tod@s en el jardín. Ha sido un placer ¡Un sitio al que sin duda volvería! Nos vemos muy pronto. Gracias por todo 🧡 Köszönöm

Fue mi primer voluntariado y la pasé increible. Las tareas eran claras, sencillas y se respeta el horario. Conocí a personas de diferentes países y tuve tiempo libre para conocer Budapest. El jardín es bonito y perfecto para descansar. Sin duda lo recomiendo. ¡Gracias por todo! ☆

Balazs is a really good person, very calm, sociable and above all he makes himself available for everything. He gives 'trust' to the volunteers and it is something that you don't often find from hosts. As for the work it was really fantastic, but if you are a proactive person you always find something to do even on 'dead' days. The other volunteers were super kind, very helpful. I recommend this place especially for the flexibility of hours and working days, you have practically all the time to work (if you work remotely) or visit the city and rest!

The hostel is a great base to explore Budapest and the surrounding area. Balasz has great recommendations for what to see and do and you meet a good mix of international travellers and Hungarian locals. Staying in the hostel can be an experience since you sleep where you work but overall I would recommend the experience.

Mi experiencia en the hostel fue excelente, el trabajo es muy ligero y la mayor parte del tiempo consiste en esperar que lleguen los huéspedes. El hostel está a 30 minutos del centro, pero eso es una ventaja porque es un ambiente mucho más tranquilo que en el centro de la ciudad. Las instalaciones son muy buenas con varias áreas comunes para relajarse y disfrutar la estadía, hay un jardín muy grande y bien equipado con varias mesas y reposeras para sentarse. Balazs conoce mucho sobre el país y te puede informar sobre la historia del mismo, lo que permite sumergirse en la cultura húngara.

Tuve una buena experiencia durante mi voluntariado. Disfruté mucho el equilibrio perfecto entre trabajar en un entorno natural y explorar la ciudad aprender más sobre el lugar, y colaborar con personas de todo el mundo.

I couldn't ask for a better experience! The hostel is cozy, surrounded by nature in a residential area within easy acess to city center by metro/bus. The work is fair and gives you enough free time to explore budapest! I would say its important to be really motivated and keep a good communication with the team then the work will be chill! Balazs is a lovely host, a good listener and is always open to share a lot. The atmosphere is more like a big house, which makes it more humanizing and easier to create connections with guests. I can say that I left with new friends and great memories :)
