I was at the finca for just less than a month, and truly loved my experience. The permanent staff team are fantastic - so knowledgeable, open, kind and fun. I never once felt out of place. If you go to the finca with an open mind, ready to learn and immerse yourself in the community, you will thrive. Thank you to everyone - and the dogs! - who made my experience so special! The project was a truly nourishing experience. The team, animals, volunteers and nature were all fantastic. It was a great opportunity to learn, both about the farm and to practice Spanish. There are a variety of tasks to help with and the opportunity to share any skills or expertise you might have. The team has a great work ethic and positive energy which is really motivating. But it's not all about work - there are also some interesting activities to do nearby including climbing a volcano, river swimming and visiting local towns. The food's delicious too - enjoy!

From beginning till end the communication was very clear and I felt welcomed right away. The place itself is beautiful and there are a lot of different tasks to do for the volunteers. It really felt like a community that wants the best for eachother when I was there.❤️

When I arrived at the farm I was instantly welcomed. The people who work and live there are so open and loving!! The time moved so fast, the work was so much fun and I learned a lot about permaculture and sustainability. In the evenings we often played games or hung out. There were also workshops f.e. about meditation or writing. I improved in so many ways due to the farm and the people there.

Such a calm environment, very relaxing. Food was amazing and varied. Yoga studio was such an enjoyable place to dance, read, do yoga and chat with the other volunteers.

Good experience, close to the nature and animals. The tasks are physical but interesting. It would be very good if there were more planned activities or possibilities of creating a real community experience

The farm is a place where you can find peace, learn sustainable agriculture and principles and connect with lots of people and stories. I had the chance to found a little multicultural family during my stay there. The environment is filled with respect and peacefulness. Everyone can fit. I definitely recommend it and I hope that my path will lead me back there one day!

First, the food was amazing. It is $10 a day to stay and $15 added if you want to eat 3 fresh meals a day. So most people pay $25 a day. You work 2 hours first thing in the morning, then eat breakfast and then work between 9 and 12. The work great. I learned a lot. At first, it felt weird that I was paying to work. But I realized that I was learning a lot and ate really well too. they aren't super demanding of their volunteers and they understand it's a trip for us not a job. Overall, I'd recommend. I have made so many friends and memories. Bring Ole a snack from your country!
