The hostel is a nice place to meet international travelers, to get to know other cultures, make nice and fun friends; and to go party a lot. As it is in the center of Tirana, yo get to see the culture and lifestyle. Also, it's very well located to travel to other places in the hostel. Be aware that if you're expecting a huge pantry to eat during your stay, maybe this is not your place, cause you might have to adapt to everyday rice and pasta meals. However, the host, Claas, every once in a while cooks delicious dinner for the staff. It was a very nice experience! And tasks are not that hard

It was a great experience. Class is a really nice guy and does his best to make you feel good, like you're a guest. I worked longer hours than what was on the platform, but he asked me first if I was ok with the schedule and I said yes. The other volunteers who had been there for a long time helped me a lot (love u Miche). There are no free meals, but if you are the responsible for the guests breakfast, you can buy it for yourself. On the other hand, Class had a great barbecue on my last week. It was a great experience, I highly recommend it.

The thing other travelers need to know is that the work is fairly simple, it's just repetition. The host Claas was friendly and welcoming to the hostel, along with the other volunteers there. Volunteering there was one of the best experiences of my life. I recommend anyone to come here looking for volunteer work.

Es un lugar increíble en el cual puedes pasar tiempos de relajación y sentir armonía entre el conocer un nuevo lugar y el ser voluntario en el Hostel. Claas te hace sentir bienvenido desde el primer momento y puedo decir que del equipo que fuí parte fue maravilloso, gozando de respeto, buena comunicación y responsabilidad mutua. 🤗

Claas is an awesome dude, and also the rest of the staff (Juan and Michelle till then), so helpful and patient, all of them. The hostel is very clean (of course, you're one of the people responsible for that), and with a chill atmosphere. I was able to talk to people from everywhere, it was a great experience to have that kind of cultural exchange. The job was pretty simple, basically receiving new guests, knowing some places to go and how to move around (Claas will help u with that), getting the payment, cleaning the hostel & taking care of the laundry. I surely recommend to anyone. 🤙🏼

Working in the hostel was very good! We've done more hours per day than it was described cause they needed more help there, so everything was agreed beforehand. We slept in staff room where there were enough space to keep our stuff and also it was safe to let everything there. The job is basically work in the reception and cleaning and organizing all the hostel. Claas is a nice person as so is Michelle and Lara. They helped us a lot :D

A place where I learned something new every day, Class is a person with a strong and respectful personality, very experienced in many things and with great cooking skills. The tasks are basic and super easy like keeping the place organized and clean, preparing breakfast and receiving guests; The hostel is in the center of Tirana very close to everything, the only hostel with a rooftop and a wonderful view. We had a great time and definitely recommend it.

Claas is a very nice person and even that me and Manu came one week later (cause we got sick) he was very understanding. The work is about do the check in, cleanning and some small maintenance, really easy and with flexible schedule we had enought time to enjoy the city. He is an amazing cook and we learned a lot with him. We had a great time there we certainly recommend!

I Really enjoyed my staying at homestel the hostel. a great place, good rooftop and good working enviroment, class is super cool and he respect you and your job, as long as you are willy to help, It was chill, I learned a lot and I would definitely come back , totally recommended guys :) and the hostel is a cool city, great place to be

Class es un buen anfitrión, se preocupa por sus voluntarios, siempre esta disponible cuando lo necesitas, independiente de esto es un GRAN COCINERO así que vas a comer delicioso todos los días, es hostel un pequeño, las tareas son simples y concretas, fue una gran experiencia , Gracias Class.
