- Teacher and Staff Allowances: The 29 local volunteers, including teachers, cooks, and maintenance staff. - The Feeding Program: The school provides two meals a day—porridge for breakfast and a main meal for lunch. For many students, this is the only food they receive daily. - School Materials: Funds are also allocated to buying books, pencils, and essential medical supplies.

Simoonga Thandizani Trust School is a nonprofit educational institution in Zambia, dedicated to providing free education and meals to children aged 3 to 14. Help more than 350 kids teaching, environment care, health and nutrition, sports, computer and internet, art, drama... S We are keen on having volunteers with a variety of skills and experiences given that it is through people like you that we keep prospering through help.

Eveything and everyone involved in our 3 month stay at the the school have made the experience undoubtedly worthwhile. From the staffs consideration with our proposals regarding teaching, drawing and other iniciatives to the energetic and loving children that form the the school. This experience maintains the african essence whilst staying in a protected and well prepared accomodation. If you are planning on volunteering and need answers to some of your doubts, I would love to help if you contact me.

Volunteering here for three months was truly life-changing. The accommodation was well-equipped and comfortable, with a cozy bedroom, mosquito net, outdoor shower and toilet, and our own kitchen and dining area. the the school staff were incredibly supportive, and many became good friends. But the true heart of our experience was the children — full of energy, kindness, and a passion for learning. We taught them maths, English, and technology, and spent time together after the school playing football and sharing daily life. the the school has become a second home to us and we can't wait to return.

We loved our time in Simonga, Edwin and all of the members of staff were very friendly and helpful making us feel right at home. All the children were amazing and very eager to learn. Edwin gave us a lot of freedom to do what we would like and he was very happy in anyway we could help. We taught grades 5,6,7 in maths English and science and also built a chicken coop. A lot of the children would stay back after the school and would all want to play games socialize with you. The accommodation was the best we've had while volunteering around Africa we had our own room and a separate area for cooking

Edwin and his team were amazing. Truly a great group of people! Very welcoming, super friendly and warm, and most of all genuine! You'll get your own room and kitchen plus a dedicated shower and toilet. They provided WiFi and as many comforts as possible. The room and kitchen are basic, BUT it is more than enough, especially at a non-profit organization like this. All our belongings were safe too, something that many looking at volunteer opportunities care about! As for the kids ❤️ they will fill your heart! Each one so special and amazing! So get your application in, you won't regret it!

As the School we really benefited from your knowledge and experience we never expected. Una experiencia increible, la escuela esta cerca de Livingstone en un pueblito lleno de gente muy buena y con ganas de trabajar en comunidad. Desde mi punto de vista todos trabajan con los niños pero hace falta ayudar tambien al desarrollo profesional de los profesores y personal administrativo que ponen toda su actitud, yo tuve oportunidad de dar workshops y hacer un team building para los trabajadores de la escuela y estuvo muy bueno! todos aprendimos mucho! Los niños son un amor, la pase genial y la comida muy rica tambien. Edwin el dueño es una excelente persona y un gran amigo!!! GRACIAS
