I volunteered in Portugal and it was such a great experience! Nuno is very welcoming, helpful, and easy person to talk to. The atmosphere was friendly and the whole team was like a big family to me. The tasks were clear and not too heavy. After work, there was always time to hang out, cook together, and explore the area. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good vibes, nice people, and enjoyable work. I would happily come back!

The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and the whole team was really fun to be around. The tasks were clear and not too heavy, and everything was done at a comfortable pace. Being at the guest house was like being at home :) made lots of friends and enjoyed the work. The work was easy and I did it with pleasure. Nuno and the team are fantastic they feel like family. It's good to know that I have a place in faro to return when I'm missing it :) recommended.

Faro é uma cidade pequena, porém turística. uma boa cidade para quem quer paz e tranquilidade. Há muitas praias por perto com fácil acesso de ônibus, e trem, próximo tem Lagos uma cidade belíssima com praias incríveis, pra mim as mais lindas de Portugal. Fazer voluntáriado na guest house foi uma experiência diferente, me senti em casa ali é uma família, conheci pessoas incríveis. Em relação ao trabalho as tarefas são simples e os horários são respeitados. O nuno é uma pessoa boa, e flexível, onde tudo é resolvido. Na hora do almoço era divertido onde todos se reunirão para conversar e relaxa

Foi uma boa experiência, exceto que faltava gente na equipe e tive muito trabalho e fiquei sobrecarregada, no final do turno sempre estava exausta, isso atrapalhou minha estadia em Faro, mas o restante foi muito bom, quarto confortável, ambiente organizado e super bem localizado no centro de Faro.

I did reception shifts and felt a bit thrown into the cold water with it at first, especially as a non Portuguese speaker, but by time I got more comfortable so it was a big learning for me! At my time I was almost the only non Portuguese speaking volunteer, so I thought it was a very good idea that we shared the daily lunches with another hostels' volunteers which had more English speakers. Everyone was very kind and I made a lot of friends to hang out in and around Faro! Accommodation could have been better in my opinion, everything was quite run-down and wasn't kept clean that well.

I didn't have a good experience at this place, neither did my friend Lívia. The location (Faro) is nice, and the people we met at the hostel were lovely. However, the work and the manager were extremely difficult. The job is very exhausting, especially for those assigned only to cleaning, as there are many rooms and no fixed staff dedicated solely to that task. In other words, all the volunteers are responsible for cleaning the entire hostel. Another issue is that the owner is very impatient and rude. He talks a lot but doesn't listen, and constantly complains about the work we do, no matter

O proprietário é desagradável para pessoas mentirosas e preguiçosas, que com3 quartos pra fazer se escondem pra não fazer nada, tb para quem sai todas as noites e depois tem dor de barriga e não pode fazer o turno, tb para quem mente que vem viajar e está no pais a trabalhar ilegalmente, pra quem sai de um dia para outro assim sem aviso, pra quem apesar de se queixar depois de ser despedida por incompetência e preguiça aguda, mendiga alojamento em outro dos meus hosteis para ficar lá escondida.

Nuestra experiência fue buenas, conocimos mucha gente de todo el mundo, tuvimos muchas charlas con gente increible, pudimos mejorar muchisimo nuestro inglês y hacer trabajos que todavia no teniamos experimentado y fue muy Bueno. Lo recomiendo porque el lugar es hermoso, tiene accesibilidad a cualquier lugar, no solo Faro, ya que está situado en el centro. Está super serca del flixbus o trenes lo que hace que puedas conocer otras cidades como Albufeira, Lagos, etc..

I enjoyed a lot the experience. Faro is a small but beautiful city, with a lot of beaches (a bit far but worth it) and a fun nightlife. The work was easy and calm and the host, Nuno, was great with us. Him and the other volunteers made us feel at home. I highly recommend this experience because I met really special people that I'll never forget and I learned new useful skills.
