I stayed a month in Sweden. Work hours are respected, can be more with the restaurant but it can be compensated by more days off. It's in the middle of the nature, not so much to do around specially when the weather is bad. When it's sunny, you can go explore with the bikes. Overall it was a good experience 👏🏽

I had a great time in Sweden ! It's a really polyvalent volunteering. You can do kitchen work, paint, clean, do outside work. Work is hard when the restaurant is open during easter. You work all day, you don't have a lot of time to take a break. Otherwise the restaurant is open on the week-end and it's calm. It's an experience close to the nature, far from everything. You have bikes at your disposal to go around. Unfortunately, I had a disagreement with Fridus. He apologized for it and I appreciate it. I've met nice volunteers and learned a lot. Thank you !

I had a truly wonderful time in Tolvsbo! I felt welcomed since the first day there, it really was a "home away from home" for me. Roswitha and Fridus are super lovely and kind, and super available to meet our needs and requests. The tasks were accorded beforehand, and the work in the kitchen was an awesome learning experience. I already miss the nature, the dogs, Roswitha and Fridus and all the volunteers so much!

I was in Tolvsbo for a month and had a wonderful time. Roswitha and Fridus are warm, friendly people who really care about everyone having a good time. Working with Roswitha is interesting and I was grateful to learn many new things. She is also very patient in teaching. I especially enjoyed the contact with the four awesome dogs, who quickly had a place in my heart. Tolvsbo and the surroundings were particularly beautiful in winter time and it was great to be able to discover the surroundings with the dogs and other volunteers. I really enjoyed the time and miss all the people and dogs :(

I had an amazing time in tolvso! The working hours were always respected and I especially liked the daily morning walks with the dogs! The lake nearby is incredible just like the nature in general. Additionally the stay definitely helped me get more confident and openminded on a personal level. Thank you Fridus and Roswitha for hosting me!

I couldn't imagine a better first volunteering experience!! Fridus and Roswitha are the kindest people and have the loveliest dogs. The tasks were easy and pleasant. We had a lot of free time too which we usually spent in the 'living room' in the restaurant, such a cosy place!! I already miss this place and the people so much!

It was a very great time. I felt very comfortable from the beginning and it stayed that way. Fridus and Roswitha are great hosts. They are very friendly, have everything you need and think about which tasks suit whom best. The tasks were varied and well organised. In addition, they were usually discussed the evening before so that you knew what kind of tasks were coming up. All in all, I can only thank Fridus and Roswitha for the great time!

I honestly love this place! I had a great time in Söderbärke :) Roswitha and Fridus are absolutely lovely people and you can talk to them about any problem you have. Their supportive and very understanding. The work was amazing, the work in the kitchen a bit challenging on busy days, but otherwise it was very relaxed. I learned quite a few things there and meet nice people :D The dogs are totally adorable and very cute. We slept in a caravan and was very warm and comfy in there. All over I can only recommend staying there relax in the nature and meet great people!

Roswitha and Fridus are part of my heart, it is very lovely when people you don't know open the door of theire home, like they have done . because stay in theire house in not only a world packer experience, is like find a new family, and when you are so far away from your home, in my case because I am from Argentina, it is really nice and make me feel very thankful. the work you have to do it is always a pleasure because you had never feel like a hard work,it is totally the opposite, I am always did felt that I were part of a team. If you like the animals you will love this place.

My experience in Tolvsbo was amazing! ☺️ As my trip was cut short beforehand due to covid I sadly only spent about three weeks there, but maybe one day I can come back (maybe during puppy season). The surrounding nature and Swedish houses are honestly so beautiful (feels like Bullerbü there) and you are right next to a gorgeous lake. Roswitha and Fridus are great hosts and their dogs are the absolute cutest. I've only been gone for one day and I already miss it! Thank you so, so much for everything! 🥰
