I had a great time at the hostel! Tim and his family are so caring and kind, always concerned about the well-being of both volunteers and guests. You can learn a lot about good hospitality and engaging with people from Tim by observing how he welcomes guests and makes them feel at home, which is truly admirable. As for the work, it involves welcoming guests, socializing, being friendly and helping with their needs. There's also quite a bit of cleaning, but they always try to pair up volunteers to make it easier and faster. Plus, you have plenty of free time to explore Liverpool and nearby cities.

It was my first time volunteering and I had an incredible experience here. Tim and his family make you feel very welcome at the hostel and will always make sure you are comfortable. The work is light and you're shown what to do. Communication is very important here, so you need to be comfortable speaking English. But the great thing about Liverpool is the people are very nice and very chatty, so it's super easy to speak to people. I met some amazing people during my time here, that I will cherish forever. If you want to visit the north west of England this is the perfect place to volunteer.

I spent a month here at the hostel and really enjoyed my time. This was my first work for board experience and the beginning of my trip in the UK, and the hostel was a great starting place. Tim and Kate really care about the volunteers and well being of the hostel. Tim wants to ensure a great experience for us and the guests staying here. They're very flexible with days off etc as well, which made exploring Liverpool and the surrounding areas less stressful in the planning. I highly recommend the hostel as a place to volunteer at. (Also their dog Sally is such a sweetheart)

My experience at the hostel was incredibly good. (Outstanding i'd say) Tim and his family are very nice people. Tim helped me all the time, he is an incredible person , (I'm bringing a lot of good memories with him and laughs ) and you'll learn a lot from him. I'm very grateful for everything. The hostel is a good accommodation, clean and there is a good atmosphere, the staff is good, it is a good opportunity to practice English. Liverpool is a very beautiful city and there are many places to visit. My opinion is that the hostel and its people are 100% recommended.

The experience at the hostel was extraordinary. I felt at home. Tim and his beautiful wife are very friendly hosts, they were always concerned about all the volunteers. I am grateful because they taught me by example, I saw how Tim cared about good hospitality and I wanted to imitate that great example, he was like a father to me. The facilities are the best and the atmosphere too. Liverpool is beautiful and its people very friendly. the hostel exceeded all my expectations because they made my trip full of wonderful memories. I definitely recommend this beautiful accommodation.

I really appreciate my trip in Liverpool and one of the reason was that I felt welcoming from Tim, Kate and all the family. I enjoyed my stay in this city it's such a beautiful place to discover and people are really friendly. It's my first time in the UK and it wouldn't be the last. It was really nice to be here! Tim and Kate are really adorable and attentive, always on top of everything you need. The tasks are simple and several times the shift is done between two or more people so it is not difficult. And living with the guests as the days go by feels like a family, everyone is very friendly and attentive ✨

Tim was really nice from the start and he was very comprehensive when I told him I had to leave earlier because I was hired for a job. I enjoyed my short time there and I made a couple of good friends 😌 the other volunteers were great and the guests too.

I had 2 wonderful months at the hostel. The work is easy and for sure you will have time to enjoy the beauttiful city which has plenty of things to do, . Tim and Kate are the best hosts, they will always be around and they will ask you to do any task in a very polite and nice way. If you work with your soul in cleaning and reception they will realize and they will be very happy to have you with them. I really recomend the hostel in case you are thinking to go to Liverpool and if you are thinking about practicing your english, definitely this is a good place to do it 😃
