It was a great experience, living conditions can be improved. All of the volunteers were amazing and we had so much fun. Alvor is a small lovely beach town. Tasks were fair, communication can definitely be improved.

It was my first experience with Worldpackers and it was more fantastic! Host Cristina was so welcoming and generous, she has a lot of energy and she likes what she does and she is good at it. It is a really lovely place to stay as everything is so close and beautiful to visit. The work is easy and not a lot, you only work in the morning and you are free to do whatever you want in the afternoon. I met some amazing volunteers as well.

Foi minha primeira experiência como voluntário, a Cristina me recepcionou muito bem, ela é uma pessoa bem energizada e flexível. O hostel é muito bem localizado no centro a guest house e perto de tudo, bares, restaurantes, supermercado e farmácia. A praia também fica próximo. O trabalho que me foi passado não foi tão simples como estava no perfil do hostel, mas deu pra fazer tudo e os horários foram respeitados. Um abraço pra toda família a guest house

I had a very good time here! The people I met are amazing and very welcoming. The place is clean and the tasks aren't difficoult to learn and to do. The work usually starts at 8 and often the task you have to do is assigned day by day. Be ready to challenge yourself by learning how to do different things and adapt ti different tasks and situations. The work is very various. The guest House is located close to Alvor center and close to the most beautiful beaches. Cristina is caring and welcoming, she'll show you everything you need to know. Obrigada! 😊

Mi experiencia en este voluntariado no fue la mejor, no hubo una experiencia WorldPackers. Las camas no son las mejores para descansar, el desayuno un poco flojo ( hay una cocina pero no tiene todo los elementos de cocina) hay limitaciones para cocinar indicadas por el anfitrión y las tareas no son claras. Cristina és mil gentil pero hay que mejorar varias cosas.

Mi experiencia en este voluntariado fue una de las peores que e tenido..Es mi tercer voluntariado que he hecho aqui en Portugal y nunca la pase tan mal, no por el lugar porque el sitio es increible Alvor, parte de Algarve un paraiso, sino por el mismo voluntariado, su anfitrion y la gente voluntariando desgradable que habia. No cumplieron con lo acordado, nos prometieron desayuno y no lo hicieron. Nos llevaban a realizar trabajos de construccion fuera del hostel, en una supuesta quinta, nos hacian trabajar 5hs como un albanil màs, sin agua, sin baño. Siento que fue un abuzo de parte del anfitr

Foi uma experiência bem diferente do que fiz até à data, mas muito boa. A Cristina ajuda bastante na integração colocou toda a equipa à vontade para qualquer coisa que precisássemos. Durante a realização das tarefas foi divertido o contacto com pessoas locais e sua total disponibilidade para nos ensinar. Muito grata!
