L'Esperienza

Dingup House is an historic homestead c1870 situated on a farm in Western Australia’s South West. The nearest town in Manjimup. The homestead is on 14 acres and runs sheep. We have pet goats and lambs, chickens and a very cute dog named Lola. We are a family and welcome our volunteers into our home.

Staying at the guest house was a truly great experience, I connected with nature which was beautiful over there, the property is amazing, and Chris is amazing as well! She is an amazing cook, and a great company! If somebody needs to have some time alone it's the place to be! Thanks Chris for everything I will definitely miss you!

Volunteering at the guest house was a rewarding experience. Chris is warm and welcoming, and we had many intriguing conversations. She's built a successful business with dedication, and it shows. Lola, her lovely dog, is trusting and well-trained. The house is cozy, the guest house comfortable, and while the workload can be demanding, I still found time to recharge. I especially enjoyed learning in the kitchen and the sense of community here. It's a great place for those willing to put in the effort. Thanks, Chris, for your kindness and a memorable stay!

I volunteered at the guest house for a little over a month and it has truly been the most special experience. I learnt so much and I am now determined to have a little veggie garden and chickens of my own one day:) Chris is so wonderful and welcomed me into her home so kindly. We took her grandsons on holiday, visited lots of her lovely friends, attended her fitness classes and went on some amazing day trips together. I will miss having Chris to watch I'm a celeb with every evening!!! I highly recommend for volunteers to come here, it will be nothing short of incredible💗 Thank you Chris xxx

Chris and Shane made me feel welcome the day I arrived. The work varies everyday a little bit and you get a lot of free time to take some time for yourself and explore around. They took me to see all different amazing places and meet a lot of people. For me it was my first time traveling overseas and I could not have started my travels in a better place😊 They are my Aussie family now and I will 100% be back!

I do not have enough words to say thank you to Chris and Shane! They have been amazing with me. They made me feel at home and welcome as soon as I arrived. The place is simply beautiful, with a wonderful and colorful garden and so much space, where you can walk or relax. Chris and Shane are great cooker and prepared for me many delicious meals. This experience is perfect for who wants to relax, know the Australian culture and meet guests from all over the world, with whom sharing special moments at the bnb. The jobs are very easy to learn. I definitely recommend this experience!
