We invite you to be a part of something truly impactful. We are seeking a FARM COORDINATOR who can help us run our farm and farm volunteers in the middle of the jungle in Rio Dulce, Guatemala. Here we provide education, health services, and nutrition to the over 300 children from the 30 surrounding Mayan villages. We have been running our farm for 20 years and now we are looking for a coordinator!

FARM COORDINATOR - Farming, planting, transposing, composting, picking, digging, and general farm duties. Any construction abilities are an asset.
6:30am -Wake up and get ready for the day!
7:00am - TIME TO EAT
7:30am LET’S GET STARTED. Start Volunteer Activities. This will vary daily depending on your role, however mostly planting seeds, tending to the garden, growing seedlings, transplanting, raking, shovelling, working with compost and the land, pruning and watering.
9:30am Recess break time.
12:30pm LUNCH IS SERVED!
The day will end between 2:30pm-3pm when it gets hot out! This is the perfect time for a trip to Las Brisas for a cold drink and a swim in the river or siesta!
Regole
As you are working at Casa Guatemala (a private community with children) all of our Volunteers will be asked to provide a Criminal Report, and we ask that they do not drink, do drugs or smoke cigarettes. If they do smoke, we ask that they be very careful, and smoke in designated areas only, as we have the jungle and thatched room communities to protect.
