I worked at the reception, it was a lot of work, especially on the night shift. Despite that, it was a really nice experience!

The experience was very awful. You are supposed to work as receptionist and they make you da lot of laundries and dry them all. In other places there are other people who do that job, not receptionists. The staff is completely incompetent: - Anja is never here; - Eva is egocentric and wastes a lot of time chatting with people, sitting on the desk leaving the following person a lot of things to do and is used to complain when in fact the biggest lack of professionality is hers. During my shifts I have listened to a lot of complaints of many guests and I couldn't do anything.

Unfortunately Simone was not able to fulfill tasks on the reception. He was just not capable to do any of tasks given to him and also lacking social skills. He was not paying any attention while his training and also he is not able to concentrate. Also sometimes I was not sure if he even understood me in English. Considering all of that we moved him on the housekeeping but he was not able to to that neither. We were really trying to find a position for him but he just doesn't have capacity for any position that we needed and also he was rude in the end. He has some mental problems and should seek for adequate help.

The hostel is very well located, near to markets and restaurants. Mia, anja and specially Eva are very sweet and always ready to help. The job was ok, the reception part is easy to manage except for the laundry that was a little tiring. I loved the whole experience, it was my first volunteering and I would definitely recommend.

Ha sido mi primer voluntariado, he aprendido mucho y conocido a gente de todo el mundo. He podido mejorar mi inglés hablando con viajeros que llegaban al hostel. Las tareas son muy sencillas y están muy bien organizadas. Las dueñas y en especial, Eva, son encantadoras. En general, recomiendo la experiencia y me llevo muy buen recuerdo de todos mis compañeros ❤️

Our experience helping in the hostel was the best! we are grateful for the opportunity that Anja and Mia gave to us and of course for the amazing people we known in the hostel. Zagreb is beautiful, we hope to visit you again 🥰

Uno de los mejores voluntariados que tuve sin dudas! Tareas claras y bien organizadas. Anja y Mia siempre al tanto de la organización del hostel y dispuestas a ayudar a los voluntarios. En este voluntariado se vive mucho intercambio de idiomas lo que lo hace más atractivo para el que busca aprender. Gracias por todoo!!!

El hostel fue la mejor experiencia, mi primer voluntariado no pudo ser mejor, la ciudad es hermosa y hay muchas cosas divertidas que hacer, el hostal esta muy bien ubicado, Mia es la persona más amable y comprometida, recomiendo 100%

Si alguien tiene dudas de venir a Zagreb, y poder pasear por Croacia, le diré que venga sin tener que pensarlo. Porque es muy fácil moverse aquí, además el hostel está en un barrio muy tranquilo, y el centro queda a pocos minutos de aquí. Las tareas del voluntariado son muy sencillas y hay un buen entrenamiento antes de arrancar. Mia, Anja y Eva, las adoro!!! 🤗 Gracias por haberme ayudado tanto!!!

Brilliant host, excellent hostel, perfect location; loved my time at the hostel. amazing people, welcoming & clean environment; completely positive experience. full training is provided & the shifts/tasks are easily completed. I definitely recommend this host/place to everyone & I hope to return again to volunteer in the future
