Our initiative is a nursery/day care. The children ages range from 3 to 5. Our mission is to provide underprivileged children with a safe place to learn so that they can reach their full potential.

Volunteers can help out with any number of tasks around our nursery, including cooking, teaching, cleaning, or deliveries; they also help with social media. Volunteers can set their own schedule. Food and housing are complimentary at our facility.

Makuyu Education Initiative is a nursery/day care located in rural Makuyu, Kenya. We have currently 15 children attending and we have 7 employees working full time, including 5 who live on the grounds of the nursery. The children ages range from 3 to 5.

Attività e turni

Volunteers are needed for a variety of different reasons. For example, we need volunteers to help take care of the children, which includes helping with cooking, cleaning, and with teaching classes, as well as taking pictures/videos of the children and introducing them to different cultures around the world.
