L'esperienza

Come join our team in the most fun position! We're looking for someone to lead social events at our venue, such as our bar and dinner itineraries. Responsibilities include serving wine and beer, serving tapas, and ensuring guests are having a great time.

Volunteers will have all mornings off, plus two days off per week, and will be housed in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore Lisbon.

Dettagli del programma

Tapas & Fado Nights
- The guide is responsible for shopping for the ingredients for the food
- Preparing the tapas (cutting bread, cheeses, chouriço, serving olives, grapes, tremoços, etc)
- Keeping the kitchen and common areas tidy during the preparation time and while the activity is happening
- Serving the tapas, creating a social atmosphere, introducing guests to each other
- Cleaning the dishes
- Leading the group to a Fado house nearby and making sure all guests got in and are ready to watch the performance

Pub-crawl nights
- The guide is responsible for visiting the reception of the hostel to know how many guests are signed up and if there are special situations to keep in mind (like alcohol free guests)
- Serving wine and beer to guests during the happy hour at the hostel
- Creating a social atmosphere, introducing guests to each other
- Keeping the common areas tidy while the activity is happening
- Leading the guests to 3 bars, helping serve shots, keeping up the party vibe
- Leading the group to a nightclub and making sure everyone got inside
