Hacer voluntariado en República fue increíble!! 🥰 Todos me recibieron muy bien, desde Daniel hasta todos los staffs que trabajan allá, y me hicieron sentirme como si estuviera en casa. Las actividades son tranquilas y sencillas y también se cumplió la cantidad de horas laborales acordadas por semana. Cuando aplique para el voluntariado, tenia planes de quedarme apenas 4 semanas, pero al final lo estendi para casi 7 semanas. Los recomiendo muchísimo!! 😃😃

Minha experiência no República hostel não poderia ter sido melhor! O Hostel tem uma estrutura incrível, os trabalhos são muito de boa(os horários são respeitados), a equipe é fenomenal, des do Daniel(responsável pelos voluntários) até o pessoal da recepção, administração e limpeza. Se vc procura um lugar divertido, com estrutura incrível, e pessoas mais incríveis ainda, o República Hostel é o seu lugar! Um forte abraço a todos 💚

Fue increíble, de esas experiencias en las que al final te preguntas por qué no lo había hecho antes, conoces gente bonita tanto nativa como extranjera, aprendes cosas nuevas y tienes suficiente tiempo para conocer la ciudad y alrededores.

El voluntariado está bien . te dan cama y desayuno como lo dice acá. Pero si esperas tener horarios fijos y organizacion,y profesionalismo no es este. Ya que acá se toma en cuenta como le caes a la Gerente y a la coordinadora de voluntarios , más que como seas trabajando. Yo por mi parte note mucha diferencia y casi que un poco de discriminación en algunos casos. suelen hacer diferencias depende de que país seas. a mí me pasó. el Hostel es hermoso y la gente d ( recepción, mantenimiento, mucamas un 100 son lo más ) . el resto Ada Gerente , Isabela Coordinadora de voluntarios decepcionante

It was such a great experience. I worked with very welcoming and friendly people. I mostly do kitchen tasks such as assisting with breakfast and I'm gonna miss working with the lady that taught me everything, It could seem simple but you will learn a lot. It was also a lot of fun to meet people from different parts of the world and local. Cartagena is such a vibrant city and there is so much to do. You will never get bored.

Teaching yoga was an amazing experience in this hostel ! Cool people, very nice team and the place is lovely I felt welcomed and there is always cool things to do here :) The organization could be a bit improved sometimes but it didn't bother me much It's a good place to meet travelers, practice english and a bit of Spanish as well Thanks :)

Volunteering at the hostel was definitely fun! The shifts behind the bar were most of the time really chill and on 'event nights' quite busy (but still fun). It was the perfect job for meeting and connecting with other backpackers and volunteers. The hostel itself is perfectly located in the beautiful 'Centro historico' of Cartagena and has everything you need: pod beds, 2 swimming pools, regular events and a lot of social life. Would definitely recommend volunteering here!
