Join our fun, international hostel crew and live the true backpacker experience! We’re looking for an easy-going, confident volunteer with receptionist and customer service experience plus booking system knowledge. 5 morning shifts (8:45am–1:15pm). Tasks include check-in/out, payments and laundry and customer service. Extra hours over 15h are paid. Folding & closing shifts available for the right legend. Available 15 Feb–15 March only.

Our time at the hostel was truly amazing. The work is light and manageable. The team is a dream, so fun and easy to hang out with. You have plenty of time for yourself after work and you'll never have a dull day at the hostel. We genuinely would've extended if I hadn't had to go back earlier than expected but communication with Mathilde was very easy and understanding. Can only recommend this place 🖤

The hostel is one of the nicest, most welcoming hostel environments i've ever experienced and i honestly don't think it can be topped. it has a variety of games, books pool tables and a pool which is greattt to find a hostel that you want to hang around in and not just sleep in. the work load is light and evenly distributed between the volunteers working from 9:30-12:30 so you have the rest of the day to enjoy yourself. the staff are so sweet and friendly you'll somehow make friends with everyone within like 24hours. overall banging place that is definitely recommend to any other travelers

I volunteered at the hostel for about a month together with my girlfriend, and the experience was absolutely amazing. When we arrived we were positively stunned at how cozy the hostel was, the pictures alone doesn't do it justice. We immediately felt very welcomed and taken care of. The workload is very fair, the regular day consisted of working 3 hours in the morning, doing housekeeping or maintenance. There's a lot to discover around Port Macquarie, from great beaches and diners, to amazing nature reserves. I can't recommend the hostel enough. If you get the chance, go!

Volunteering at the hostel was truly amazing. The staff was so nice and friendly, the hours were doable and you still had enough time to jump in the pool and relax after the shift. We learned how such a hostel runs behind the curtains and were very grateful to get some housekeeping and gardening skills from it. We also created some deep friendships and connections with the other volunteers. To sum up, the life in Port Macquarie and at the hostel is great and we would always do it again :)) <3

I had a great time at the hostel! The staff is very welcoming and Alex & Jonathan organized some fun activities. The hostel has a very friendly atmosphere. Staff members have their own area with cabins and a bathroom. Port Macquarie itself is a pretty and rather quiet town.
