Dettagli del programma

We are a warm and loving Chinese family looking for volunteers in teaching and helping with us in Yichang. It only takes one hour by high-speed train to reach Wuhan, a major city in central China. My husband and I live in Tucheng Town, just a 20-minute drive from downtown Yichang. We run a small store that sells daily necessities and Chinese Spring Festival supplies.
As we are always swamped with work during the Spring Festival, we barely have time to take care of our little granddaughter. Besides, my daughter is also tied up with her job. That’s why we’d like to invite foreign friends to our home for the Spring Festival. You can experience the strong and traditional Chinese Lunar New Year atmosphere here, and also help our granddaughter with her English learning—playing with her for two to three hours every weekday would be perfect!
My elder sister’s family of three will come to help us during the Spring Festival, and we’ll have a reunion dinner together on New Year’s Eve. My brother-in-law will be the chef—he’s an excellent cook who can whip up a feast of authentic Chinese dishes! On the Spring Festival night, our extended family will set off fireworks together. This has been our annual tradition, so you can fully immerse yourself in the local Spring Festival vibe and Chinese traditional culture!!!
