My time at MCB Australia was a mixed bag of experiences and emotions. I really enjoyed the location, animals and most of the people I met there. The amount of work that needed to get done was significant as the property is understaffed and has ongoing deferred maintenance and housekeeping needs. There also an expectation that volunteers attend the prayer ceremonies that happen 4x per day, 6 AM, noon, 6PM and 8:30PM. So time keeping is required. We had some fun excursions to beaches and the forest and trips to town. Overall, the experience was valuable to me as I learned a lot about myself.
