My experience in the hostel was AMAZING! The host was open to hear proposals so I could perform and share my abilities and talents with the guests and other volunteers. The staff was awesome in every sense and my time there meeting locals and other travelers was something I will remember all my life. Simply THE BEST volunteering in the hostel to meet new people and travel trough this amazing area. Recommended 100%! Thank you for everything 🙏

I was in the hostel for two weeks and it was magical, it really exceeded my expectations. The place is so beautiful, the staff was really friendly and made me feel at home, and the food was delicious and nutritious. I'm very grateful to have been in this place sharing my knowledge. :)

This was my absolute favourite Volunteering hostel I have ever done! It's located in paradise with animals and flowers everywhere. You get to eat 3 delicious meals everyday and there is so much to explore around the hostel. We went to waterfalls, palomino beach and a chocolate making tour. You also get half price tickets to the big jungle parties at Rio and also free accommodation in Mina!! I 100% recommend this place! The other staff are lovely, especially Alba and all the other Volunteers. I will miss this place 🫶

I had an incredible experience at Valley Hostel, where I spent 1.5 weeks teaching yoga and another week creating content. The staff was accommodating to my dual role, which I really appreciated. The hostel itself is beautiful, with open dorms and showers that create an open atmosphere. The rivers are beautiful and the beach isn't too far either. My only wish is that cleanliness was better maintained and staff communication and urgency could be improved. That said, my position was easygoing, making my stay enjoyable.

El Hostel es un lugar muy bonito inmerso en la naturaleza con mascotas y personas con muy buena energía, en especial Alba que nos guío y acompaño en nuestra estadía🫶, también se encuentran Lucas, Don Jairo y Jahir personas muy lindas y hospitalarias. El trabajo todo muy bien, con horarios y días de descanso establecidos.

El Hostel es hermoso, te permite conectar con la naturaleza. Las horas de trabajo están bien, suele ser bastante tranquilo y se aprende bastante de la barra. Lo que cambiaría son las comidas, aunque es rico es arroz con verdura y se vuelve muy repetitivo. Recomiendo si queres ir a desconectar y estar en un lugar tranquilo!

I had a fantastic time at this beautiful jungle Oasis! Volunteers get to help out on different tasks so it's great to get the varied experience. I would say volunteers need a good level of fitness! The meals provided are well made but it's sometimes difficult to eat during shift and if you want something different you can prepare your own food. An unforgettable experience.

The experience at the hostel was amazing. The location of the hostel is great, and the shifts are not hard. It is a great opportunity to learn Spanish, since some of people from the staff don't speak English, and to get to know local people. The other volunteers were friendly and this helped to create a great environment and made me enjoy the experience even more. I would suggest to anyone interested in this position to be ready to adapt and be flexible since living in the jungle for few weeks could be challenging but it's a unique experience and I loved it. Highly recommended.

El valley es un lugar hermoso, volvería mil veces y se lo recomiendo a todos 🤩 Tenes todo lo que necesitas, como voluntario no te va a faltar nada, desde el primer minuto me sentí super cómoda con todos los empleados. También son flexibles si necesitas algún día u horario en particular. Las horas de trabajo son muy tranquilas también. Lo único a mejorar es la comida del personal, la mayoría de los días solamente era arroz con alguna verdura, aunque estaba rico a veces nos quedábamos con hambre. Y también la habitación de voluntarios le vendría bien un poco de mantenimiento.

My experience at the hostel was great! The hours and tasks are fair, the accommodations are good enough, and the hostel is breathtaking. The staff is also really fun and try to include you a lot (specially if you already speak Spanish). Great location for those wanting to explore the hostel!
