Being in Iceland has always been a dream. Every moment with Worldwide Friends was amazing. Driving, going to the grocery store, seeing the auroras with special people… simply one of the best experiences of my life. Toti and Victoria were always very attentive and willing to help with any questions, it was truly incredible! I highly recommend it.

It was a wonderful experience being with this organization!! They were extremely attentive, offered me much more than I expected, and always cared about my well-being. It was a real pleasure to volunteer with them, and I also learned about practices that help the environment. I truly recommend them😍

If you ever get the chance to embark on a volunteer program with WF, go for it! I learned so much about Iceland, how they are working to become a true green country, about the wild nature and this all at the same time I got to meet volunteers from literally all around the world. I can't express how happy and grateful I will forever be. Victoria and Toti are super chill, easy going leads to learn from! Thank you so much!

I’ll be forever grateful for this opportunity. The workdays, facilities & food were 10/10. The people behind WF work very hard to create a + environmental impact, always w/ deep care for human sensitivity & integrity. Toti & Victoria clearly understand that environmental education & awareness are the only real ways to plant seeds of contagious change in the short term, & they do so in the kindest way a volunteer who’s alone & far from everything familiar can be treated: w/ warmth, active listening, dialogue & respect. I totally recommend embarking on this adventure & I plan to return soon!

First of all, thank you Victoria for this experience.
I'm happy to have come, but I agree with Jimena's comment.
I think I spent 10% of my time doing the tasks that were in the contract. Communication in the NGO still has something to be desired. We are often informed in the morning or the evening before what needs to be done the next day. Victoria was a very good, attentive, and gentle listener; she's an amazing woman, but I think she's overwhelmed by the work we entrust to her. I still had a good experience thanks to the people I met, but I wouldn't recommend it either.
