My volunteering experience at The Friends Hostel in Kutaisi was very positive. From the very first day, I felt welcomed like part of the family. Elena and Alex are truly wonderful people and they made my stay at the hostel unforgettable with their kindness, warmth and positive energy.🤍
During my stay I was also in charge of cleaning, and sometimes I noticed that guests were not as tidy and clean as I’m used to. However I learned to see it as part of the experience and as a way to connect with different habits and way of living. I recommend this place for an authentic experience in Georgia.

My experience at this hostel was amazing. From the first day, I felt at home thanks to the friendly and family-like atmosphere. It’s super central, perfect for joining activities and exploring the city. I met travelers from all over the world, made friends, and learned about different cultures. The place is cozy, great for sharing and relaxing. During my volunteering, I learned a lot, even with my limited English. Everyone was kind and patient. An authentic and enriching experience I totally recommend!

I had a very nice time at The Fiends Hostel. Very beautiful house 🏡 with a good atmosphere and nature 🌿 lovely pets 🐾 and the chance to meet many wonderful travelers from everywhere. Elisa and Alex are super kindly people and makes you feel part of the family 🤗 many times sharing meals, sometimes watching movies 🍿 and also its possible to work in many different tasks to not be repetitive, working hours and dates could be flexible so it gives opportunity to explore more cities from Georgia 🇬🇪.

Elena and Alex have big hearts and are hospitable not only to the volunteers but also to many other travelers. My stay at the hostel allowed me to share and connect with many people from different countries and make friends there. The food was plentiful, and the work was quite independent.

Lena and Alex literally opened their home and welcomed me with their family. The tasks seem like a lot but it's actually very easy and once you know what to do you will finisb everything super fast.
I loved spending time with Loki and playing with him. The hostel is big but you still have a cozy and home-like feeling.
The language barrier can be hard sometimes but I was able to learn and improve some Russian and there is good communication with everyone.
