Scenic Avenue
As a host I am hoping to provide a lovely home environment for travellers who have been staying in youth hostels for a while. In return I would really like keen motivated hard working people who will help me to get my garden back in shape and get on top of some home maintenance.
I am 61 and I am a community nurse. I love meeting new people and I love travel. I am a member of a house sitting site and my partner and I love to explore new places. I have 3 adult children, who I am very close to Unfortunately one lives in Munich. I always try to treat others with respect and kindness.

Jenness was such a lovely host! She made me feel very welcome right from the start. I had such amazing conversations and felt at home away from home. I spent a week on the Sunshine Coast and it was such a treat being able to volunteer here. The work was super rewarding and also very easy. Jenness was so nice to drive/pick me up to places, help me navigate the area, cook beautiful meals, provide a lovely room, and overall was the best host I’ve had. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a genuine and lovely Australian experience! Thank you so much, Jenness ❤️. Will miss you !

Jenness is one of if not the best host someone could ask for. The work was not overwhelming and mainly involved doing garden maintenance, and painting porches. Food was incredible! Every day for breakfast lunch and dinner Jenness had wonderful meals prepared. When we were not working Jenness was an incredible guide taking us on many waterfall hikes and driving us to the bus stop to get around. Her house is beautiful and very clean. A 6 star experience!

Jenness is an absolute gem, truly our Australian mother! She went out of her way to make our stay unforgettable, driving us everywhere, planning activities, and always making sure we were happy and comfortable. Her home is stunning, cozy cabin vibes with breathtaking views, and her cooking is incredible. The house was spotless, the food amazing, and the company even better. If I could give her six stars, I would. Anyone would be lucky to stay with Jenness! ❤️

Staying with Jenness was a beautiful experience. She welcomed us warmly and always made sure we felt at home.
Her house is lovely, very clean and comfortable, and she cooked amazing meals for us every day.
We spent great time together, from visiting waterfalls and hiking in the national park to sharing coffe outings and long friendly chats. She showed us wonderful places and made everything more special.
Jenness is incredibly kind and generous. We are truly thankful for her hospitality and recommend her to any traveler.

Our experience with Jenness was truly amazing. From the very first moment, she made us feel so cared for. Her house is beautiful, super cozy, clean and well-kept- and she was always cooking delicious meals. It really felt like home.
We also shared wonderful moments with her: walks through the national park, visiting a waterfall, enjoying breathtaking viewpoints, and having lovely chats along the way. She showed us magical places.
Jenness is kind, generous and incredibly supportive. She helped us with everything and made us feel part of her family. We 100% recommend her to any traveler!
