I am a Well Experienced Buddhist monk who Has years of Experience of Teaching Buddhism and Meditation all over the world. We are doing a lot in the Monstary and our staff is well experienced in the Hospitality.

Had a fantastic stay. Got to learn so much about meditation and also experiencing local Sri Lankan culture in a way that was both informative and very fun. The Bhantes are very knowledgeable, helpful and make you feel very welcome. I felt very looked after and the food was incredible. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

The experience exceeded my expectations. We had different and enriching activities every day, nourishing both mind and soul. The meals were delicious, and the monks were attentive to my needs. I had a wonderful time and would definitely return. I recommend not missing the weekend to participate in the school activities.

I had an amazing experience here, I stayed for 4 nights and think it is the perfect amount of time.
My highlight was talking with the children at Sunday school (make sure you try stay over a Sunday) and the sunrise meditation.
I learnt lots on Buddhism and Sri Lankan culture, ate so many delicious and traditional dishes.
Being able to see how monks live and their daily rituals was an unforgettable experience and if you’re debating to do it you have too!
Honestly a once in a life time experience I will never forget and I thank all of the bhante’s for being so welcoming to me🩷

Ha sido increíble poder vivir esta experiencia. Istuti 🙏🏼 La recomiendo 100% a cualquier persona ya sea antes, durante y después del viaje para tener una real inmersión con la cultura budista, la gente local y los monks. Me siento totalmente agradecida por toda su labor y los voy a echar muchísimo de menos. Gracias gracias gracias

I had the most amazing experience staying with Bhante Wasa and the other Monks. It's actually hard to describe with just a few words what you can experience. I learned so much about Sri Lankan Culture, Buddhism and the daily life of a monk in Sri Lanka! I loved the daily Q&A sessions. any question was allowed and answered. And there was so much more you have to figure out by yourself :) Certainly the highlight of my whole trip!
