NEWSTAYINN HOSTEL

Hello!

I'm Hara and Josh the hostel manager of Newstayinn.

We acquired this hostel back in September 2023, and most of the remodeling is now complete.

Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming 26 amazing volunteers, including Kim, Helene, Illany, Clo, Anisha, Reteu, Tasha, Eunice, Valeria, Valentina, Noelia, Maire, Dee, Sabrina, Sofie, Pamela, Teddy, Giada, Caoimhe, Natalie, Wynne, Sara, Michel, Hana, Priya, and Margarita. Many more are planning to visit soon!

I’ve grown very close to them, like family. We’ve taken photos together, gone to karaoke, and even enjoyed monthly BBQ parties.

While it may not have been perfect, I truly did my best to create a welcoming and supportive environment for our volunteers.

If you’re looking for a place to stay, come to our hostel in Myeong-dong, the heart of Seoul, and enjoy a comfortable stay!

Josh, our manager, and I always strive to support our volunteers. If you’re interested in learning Korean, feel free to join us! We both graduated from the Department of Theater and Film and are also working as actors. I can teach you Korean in a simple and easy way. There is a microwave and an electric stove available for cooking. We provide a dedicated refrigerator for employees. Volunteers are accommodated in a private four-person dormitory with bathrooms. All volunteers are women. Washing machines and dryers are available for free on the 4th floor. Once a month, we host a Korean BBQ party for all employees!
