I stayed on as a volunteer for about a week.
Communication with the host is easy and effective, but a bit complicated with the rest of the family; however, today's technology can easily solve these issues.
You feel welcomed into the family from day one, and they are always available.
The work varies from teaching English to village classes to cleaning the farm garden.
Highly recommended! The only difficulty is the private spaces, which I found hard to get used to, but if necessary, it is possible to stay in another house. Just ask and talk openly.
