In Italy for the last 2 years, we are Benedicte (Ben) and Eric and we decided to set up a country house in Umbria to accommodate anyone who needs to take a break from their life journey and regain desire and energy. For this project, we really believe on the benefits of exchanging experiences and sharing talents in a calming and inspiring natural setting, with a magnificent view of the surrounding hills.
Our house, which has the privilege of being built around a church from 1066, is located 2 km from the village of Magione, 5 km from the superb lake of Trasimeno and 20 km from surprising Perugia. You will have the opportunity to discover the richness of the Region (Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Siena...).

We are looking for helpers who can manage and take responsibilities for the smooth running of the house from welcoming people, organizing the activities and making sure the house is kept clean and tidy as well as the organisation of the meal and shopping needs. For this special responsibility we are looking for someone who can stay at least a month and has a driving licence ( Manual).

We are looking also for helpers who can participate in the renovation work of the house, in the creation of the vegetable garden, in the development and maintenance of the 5 hectares of woods, in imagining the evolution of the church or to share their artistic, manual or culinary skills. The helpers will be accommodated in one of the 8 rooms of our house and fed at the community table.

Volunteers will be welcome to choose among the few different tasks to do around the house and the property. It can be : organizing the vegetable garden, cutting wood, painting rooms , decorating the church...amongst other...
