Kasbari House

Our coliving/coworking/laundromat in Tamraght, near Taghazout in Morocco offer you a unique and enriching experience for people passionate about surfing and travel.
We offer private rooms and dorms with a unique charm, decorated with passion (with shared bathroom and kitchen). The coliving also includes a coworking space in a wonderful garden which allow people to work while exploring the surrounding area.
You will discover famous surf spots, ideal for surf passionates and beginners. You will enjoy the slow life in Tamraght, surrounded by locals pleasant cafes and restaurants, all under the Moroccan sun.

Our shifts are 5 hours of work, 5 days a week (2 days off). The tasks will be: welcome clients in the laundromat/coworking/coliving, inform them, pay in, help them to use the washing machines, clean the spaces... In exchange, we offer your a bed in the staff room, yoga classes and a lot of good moments (no surf board included).

This was my first volunteer experience, and it couldn’t have been a better choice! Kasbari feels like a home away from home. Many guests stay long-term, making it easy to build genuine connections and enjoy real conversations. The tasks are simple, and Anis is welcoming, kind, and brings great energy to the place. Tamraght is a lovely surf town with very friendly people. I highly recommend this volunteering opportunity :)

Kasbari is a home away from home. I felt very welcome and grateful to be in such a warm place; the guests stay usually longer, you can really get to know everyone in a very natural way - genuine convos, hikes, hanging out. the vibe is really friendly :-) The tasks are very simple, you have to help guests with their laundry, clean up the common areas and take the trash away. We share meals together twice a week, and you don’t want to miss it out! Anis is very kind & chill host with really cool stories!
Make sure to do some yoga practices with Colette ;-) & enjoy Tamraght as much as you can! x

Kasbari house is the best Worldpackers experience I have had! Due to the coworking and coloving aspect of the house people stay longer then at hostels and true friendships and community is formed. Anis and Colette are also amazing hosts, very caring and great communication and expectations set. They have created an amazing community which was incredibly welcoming and inclusive. The Tamraght lifestyle is great for slowing down and you have plenty of time to enjoy surfing everyday and Colettes amazing yoga!

Kasbari is an really warm and welcoming place for everyone! Since it's a coliving, most guests are staying for longer periods , which make the place feel more like a family. My favourite days was definitely Tuesdays when we had pot luck dinner! The tasks are really easy and quickly done, nothing to complain about at all. Tamraght is also a really nice and calm place, perfect for surfing and finding good coffee spots!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and i couldnt have asked for a better start. Tamraght was a spontaneous choice for me but volunteering at Kasbari House became something truly special. The community, the balance between connection and personal space and the relaxed positive atmosphere made my stay unforgettable.
Anis & Colette were supportive from day one with clear tasks and great communication. Anis’ open hearted nature and helpfulness is inspiring. I’m grateful I chose this place and Inshallah I will be back just like everyone I met here always finds their way back! :)
