Where to begin! There is so much life and joy in this community. I came right after some major landsliding, and everyone was still kind and extremely welcoming.

Mr. Ger and Tina are very hospitable. They are excited to show you around and teach you about the local culture. They'll also make sure you are WELL fed and become your family.

The work is simple and easy. You just follow along with the teachers, play games with the kids, and act as a mini celebrity to the locals. You have more than enough time to explore and do whatever you may need. Come - this place is gorgeous inside and out!

Thanks and appreciated to the kindness and humble of Ms.Aria was coming for the first day road can access from Medan Airport. She was so optimistic and consistent to get to Takengon even some road challenges was still on process repairing after disaster. So far far she so energic and easy going also so innovative to teach our students. For the first weeks she arrived we did some Trauma Healing for the kids homeless from Disaster . Ms.Aria was so fun and amazing idea to make the kids become happy

The Aceh region was hit by devastating floods a few days before my arrival. Nonetheless, Mr Ger allowed me to volunteer with O2 Course in another location, Banda Aceh, instead of Takengon. The last-minute change was well-communicated. My stay in Banda Aceh has been a very enriching, memorable experience. Miss Riza – tutor of the English course and my host – took care of everything with kindness, flexibility, care, and warmth. My role was supporting her in class & helping students practise speaking English. I learnt a lot about Aceh's culture & met wonderful people who felt like a new family.

Hi Ms.Anna, it is a truly love with our big family O2 Course. You are such a kind and humble person and helpful. The story was her destination supposed to Takengon Central Aceh. As disaster was suddenly happen on the last minutes cannot access to Takengon cause road was broken cause landslide then we offer her to Banda Aceh as our Branch. And she was accepting it. Ms.Rija as our Tutor in Banda Aceh in Dorm and they were staying fun and happy with teaching at the students. She was helping Much.
