My friend and I helped out at the InBraga hostel for about a month during off-season. It wasn't necessarily a regular hostel experience with people from all over the world traveling through, which had it's ups and downs.

Nelson was very helpful and forthcoming with our wishes regarding the free days or overall unexpected situations we faced during work hours :) It's also a bonding experience with other worldpackers, which we were thankful for.

My time at InBraga wasn’t quite what I was expecting but I am still very grateful for the experience. Because it was quiet season, Nelson got a bunch of contract trade workers to come and live in the hostel, which changed the dynamic a lot - our job was essentially cleaning up after them and there was barely any social interaction. I was hoping for more of a social experience but I understand why it wasn’t. There was also a lot of downtime while on shift. Nelson is a great host though and he always has jokes up his sleeve! Braga is a lovely city and the hostel is in a great location.

Tuve una cálida y cómoda experiencia en InBraga Hostel. Nelson, es un muy buen anfitrión y se preocupa por la comodidad de los voluntarios como también respeta el horario y hace lo posible para que tu tiempo libre se adecúe a tus necesidades. Braga es una ciudad maravillosa, tiene muchos sitios por visitar y también su estación de autobuses es muy comercial por lo que puedes ir a muchos lados del país. En general pasé una bonita experiencia. Muchas gracias por todo, Nelson!

Nelson é uma ótima pessoa, explica bem o que tem que fazer e fazemos nossos horários de acordo com a semana e é sempre conversável. Uma ótima localização do hostel e boa oportunidade de conhecer Braga, os seus arredores e os novos viajantes que passam pelo hostel! Obrigada!

It was so amazing to stay here. Nelson is very kind and welcoming. I stayed here for 2 weeks and I had a lot of fun. He made some Portugese home cooked meals, which was really fun to try. The work is easy to cover and social. Nelson really cares a lot about the hostel, which you can see and I think that is amazing! I would definetly recommend this place to anyone. The city is also cute and there are a lot of other beautiful places nearby
