Hostel Casa Mia
We have a cozy friendly feel at home environment to volunter at. The people that come here come as guests ans leave as friends. The locatiob is very convinient to travel around and accesss the beach.
They are treated like family members with respect and care. At this environment you can grow as a person and sharpen your work skills. People are offered free training and the tools they need to succed.

I spent one month at Casa Mia, it felt like home almost right away. The hostel itself is well maintained, separate staff room for the women which is amazing. I got to stay with Maggie, who if you get the chance to meet you will love! Elvis is very funny and a very inviting person, any questions? He can answer them. Any worries/concerns? He can solve it. You can expect a fun social environment, pool table, table tennis and a well equipped kitchen. The work is laid back and to the point. It was never too much work, and as agreed upon never passed 4 hours. Thank you for the great memories!

I spent two weeks on this project and I had an enjoyable time! The tasks were simple and the schedule was respected. Also, Elvis and Andrey are such nice people and you’ll have the chance to explore Saranda and cities nearby on your day off. Tksssss and I hope to see you soon again 👷🏻🤙🏻

Minha experiência foi frustrante. O hostel não tem equipe de limpeza.São três espaços (hostel, hotel e apartamentos) e apenas uma funcionária, que trabalha mais de 12h por dia sem folgas. Nós também ficamos sobrecarregados, pois há muitos quartos para poucas pessoas. As instalações são ruins, com banheiros em péssimo estado, o que dificulta ainda mais a limpeza. Trabalho online além do voluntariado, então a rotina ficou exaustiva. Decidi encerrar antes do previsto, pois não valia a pena trocar meu tempo por hospedagem ruim, sem alimentação ou outros benefícios.

She agreed to volunter here being explained the circumstances. She was given 4 rooms a day for 4 hours of voluntering. Apprantly she had other plans. It is not our problem you take more than you can handle. 12 hours of commitment a day is a lot of work for anyone.

Más que un voluntariado, es un trabajo a cambio de estadía. No cuentan con trabajadores, por lo que el trabajo de los voluntarios es muy cansado. El liderazgo tampoco es muy bueno, hubo momentos en los que me sentí incomoda

This volunter wanted to quit before of time. After communicating and fixing the problems she decided to continue her voluntering. There is no more or no less than 4 hours of help in exchange for accomodation and other benefits.
