Finca Tuani

Come experience rural Nicaragua! The focus for now is establishing forest gardens using syntropic agroforestry and permaculture design strategies. In the future, I hope to build cabins and treehouses. The property has a small stream to enjoy in the woods. It's in a small village, but a bus passes hourly. It's about 30 minutes downhill to get to the beach or 30 minutes uphill to get to Diriamba for markets, restaurants, etc.

It's just me here for now. The accommodations are simple, but I aim to have any visitors feel comfortable, and I treat others how I would like to be treated.

Mi experiencia en la Finca Tuani fue muy positiva. Es un lugar ideal para quienes buscan conectar con la naturaleza, aprender sobre la vida en el campo y compartir en un ambiente tranquilo y respetuoso. Joe es una gran persona y espero que muy pronto tenga una gran cosecha, es una manera interesante de cultivo, os animo a aprender y vivir la experiencia.

Had a great time at Joe's property. Very chill, super simple, and easy being here. Got here shortly after the rainy season and found this great, humble guy in his lush, fruit tree-filled environment. We've trimmed some overgrown grass, dug a few pits, planted seeds, and discussed the future. Very cool seeing how farming can be both fun/loose and intentional. Definitely learned a few useful tricks from my host Joe!

Joe is an amazing host who welcomes you in his home :)
The accommodation is simple, but still I felt welcomed and was in good hands. It is a perfect experience for those who want to find a quiet place to connect with nature while learning about planting!
It is easy to explore the surrounding and get into town with bus :)
